Multiple {Pregnancy Series #3} ~ Choosing The Name/s

This preference will link in with the chapter titled: Your Children. Gender's, Name's and Pictures so make sure you've read that before you read this one :)

I've also included choosing the second/third babies name if you had more than one because this is the only part of the pregnancy series that makes sense to add both the other parts are all focused on first-time things like baby showers and Braxton hicks, first kick etc which people are usually used to with more children so yah :) besides i'm pretty sure Alec and Magnus are the only ones where you choose two, the others all have one kid or twins

Jace

Since finding out you would be having twins, picking names had been an easy task. You'd both decided to choose one first and middle name each for either child but, you being you, decided to make a little bit of game out of it.

*1 Month Previous*

"Ok, I have an idea" You pipe up in bed one night as Jace was watching some weird TV show about doctors and space and time travel.

"Shoot"

"I have an idea for a game we could play to decide the girls' names"  

"I thought we'd decided to choose one name each for each girl?"

"We did...but I honestly can't let you have that much control" You chuckle

"You're such a freak" Jace laughs adoringly, but he sits up in bed, his interest piqued, "Okay, what's the game idea?"

"Ok, so, we both choose two middle and two first names that we want to name one of the babies. In one month, we'll reveal them to each other and we have to agree on two of the four names of the other's choosing and that will be that girls name."

"Ok-"

"I'm not done yet" You interrupt and he chuckles, gesturing for you to go on, "But we also have to have a minimum of 4 backup first and middle names because we also have to each choose 5 names we want to veto."

"Veto?"

"Yeah, it's kind of like rejecting it. So no matter what, those 5 names cannot be used under any circumstances, end of story."

"Oooh, that is kind of fun" Jace smirks, "Ok, well, I veto-"

"No!" You yell before he can finish his sentence and he stares at you, surprised but amused, "We have to announce our veto's in a month as well, veto-ing names needs to be considered first not just rattled off. In fact, we have to have a reasoning for our veto's as well. Oh, and, let's just go ahead and veto any names of people we know - like Isabelle or Clarissa or Alexandra or anything like that."

Jace rolls his eyes at your intense control-freakiness. He was used to you being like this but you're need to control everything was currently in overdrive considering you were growing two children.

"We also have to give the reason for our top first name and last name. So out of the four you really like, choose two that you like the most and explain why you like them the most. Cool?"

"Yeah, cool" Jace smiles so softly you're taken aback

"What's that look for?" 

"I just fucking love you"

"Hey!" You screech, "The babies can hear you!"

"There she is."
