Multiple {Preference} ~ You Meet Their Family

Again, I apologise for the fact that most of these character's families are dead but hey, what can I say? Shadowhunters is a show full of fucking tragedy so

Jace - Most of his family is dead and you had already met Maryse and Robert before in passing, as well as Izzy and Alec but when he found out about being a Herondale, he'd organised for you to meet his Grandmother, Inquisitor Herondale. It was a short visit, and she didn't like you much at all...but Jace told you it didn't matter what she or anyone else thought, he loved you regardless.

Magnus - Magnus didn't talk of his parents, all you knew is that his mother had killed herself and that his father was...well, a Prince of Hell. But, unbeknownst to either of you, you had met Asmodeus in person years and years ago, before you'd even met Magnus. In fact, he'd tried to hit on you...

Simon - Simon had taken you to the Yom Kippur dinner at his mother's place. He was nervous for you to meet his grandmother, but knew him mother and sister would handle it just fine. And it all worked out perfectly, through you're wisecracking, politeness and the help of an actually coloured dress and a glamour to hide your runes, you were all comfortably laughing and joking in minutes

Raphael - His family is also mostly dead but one day he takes you to see Rosa. Even though she couldn't really remember much of you considering her age, she did frequently ask where the 'pretty girl with the flowers in her hair' was. Raphael had assured you that the fact she had remembered you at all was a great achievement.

Izzy - When Izzy had first gotten together with you, her mother was harsh and didn't exactly support the fact that you were not only a girl, but a Downworlder so the only person she wanted to introduce you to was Alec. He was kind, a little brusque, but that was to be expected. In the end, Izzy walked away to get a drink and he had threatened your life if you hurt her and, once you assured him you wouldn't, you both got along just as well as brother and sister.

Clary - Since you both had known each other since you were kids and since Luke is your father, you were well acquainted with Jocelyn, and she loved you as much as she loved Simon. Although, when it came to Valentine...you never met him, at least not in a official capacity.

Jonathan - You never met any of his family, not Valentine, Jocelyn or even Lilith. Although, you did meet Clary, it was never official in a 'this is my girlfriend' way considering the fact she didn't really know 'Sebastian' was her brother, Jonathan. But, when Aline visited, you did have to meet her as Sebastian's girlfriend...so, really, it was all quite confusing. Even though meeting Aline didn't matter, she did like you a lot and welcomed you to the 'family' with open arms.

Alec - By the time you and Alec finally made everything official, Alec's father was so far isolated from his life that you only met Maryse. He had taken the three of you out to dinner at a mundane restaurant considering both you, and now his mother, were mundanes. You and Maryse got to chatting about how to be mundane and how the world works outside of the Shadow World and eventually, it was Alec who was isolate from the conversation. By the end of the night, Maryse had told you to love her son and take care of him, to which you promised you would.
