---Genos POV----

I scanned each of the skeletons as they walked in, one of them was definitely the chief. The other one was the one that caught me.

The chief took the seat behind the desk in front of me, and the other walked over to the corner of the room and leant against the wall, studding me closely.

I looked away quickly, his gaze making me uncomfortable.

The chief cleared his throat and started talking.

"Hello Geno." I didn't respond but glared at him, he seemed unfazed.

"Is he mute?" The other skeleton asked, staring at me intently. I glowered back at him.

He was different from most police.

The normal police wore uniform with the acceptation of the Chief and some other high up officers.

He wore a dark cloak, with some rope around the neck keeping it round his neck, attached with two clips, (u all knew it was him) he seemed to be barefoot and as I looked at his face I took in that cocky grin and those soulless eyes.

He was tall, dark and handsome- wait! Why am I thinking like that? He's the enemy!

What creeped me out though was the fact that he had no eye lights. Just empty eye sockets. It honestly creeped me out a bit.

"I'm not mute, thank you very much." I said hotly. He raised an 'eyebrow'. "I was certain that the song bird was a mute for a moment." He said, glancing towards the Chief.

"Song bird?" I questioned.

"Yeah." He said simply. "You jump from roof to roof as if your flying and let out those shrill whistles to the rest of your little group to warn them if we're near."

I stared at him.

"Everyone here just nicknamed you 'The song bird'."

I scoffed. "Sounds dumb."

The tall skeleton shrugged. "What were we supposed to call you?"

"Umm how about.... my actual name?" I suggested sarcastically.

The skeleton smirked at me. "I guess we did have that option."

I growled at him.

The chief cleared his throat. "That's enough Reaper." He said.

Reaper.

So that's his name.

He sighed and leaned against the wall again, a bored expression now on his face.

I looked over at the chief. "Now then Geno, your under police regulations now. You've broke the law multiple times and of course you know that you have to pay for crimes."

I grumbled to myself, hiding my face in my scarf. My hands fiddling with the restraints that were keeping me locked to the chair.

If I could just pick the locks on them...

The colourful skeleton continued. "Now normally we would put you into our prison and make you do community work until your sentence is up. But your, condition has caused us to re-plan what we're going to do with you."

I glanced at him warily not really sure where he was going with this. "What do you mean?" I asked cautiously, continuing to fiddle with the restraints around my wrists that were slowly becoming loose.

Reaper cut in. "What he means is, your so fragile and crippled that any community work or prison brawls would probably kill you. He's just to nice to say it like that."

"I'm not fragile or crippled!" I snarled.

Reaper only stared at me with an unreadable expression.

"Thank you for that Reaper." The chief said sarcastically.

Reaper bowed. And the chief rolled his eyes.

I didn't say anything, glaring at the two of them, fiddling with the restraints until I heard what I'd been listening for.

A faint click.

The restraints keeping me to the chair were off. Sure I still had the magic restraints on. But I don't need magic. I pulled out a small knife that I always kept hidden in my pocket and lunged forward. Aiming for the chief.

I never got that far.

A loud crunch, echoed through the room.
My face was inches away from a cold, sharp scythe, if I had been any further my head would have been decapitated.

I shakily turned to see Reaper standing next to me, one hand on the scythe, the other wrapped firmly around my neck.

"Now now." He said darkly.

"That wasn't very nice, princess was it?" He threw me against the other side of the room, and pulled the giant scythe out of the table. The force of him hitting it a few seconds ago had collapsed the poor table.

He pointed the tip of the scythe at me, making sure it grazed against my neck. I tried to scramble further back, but was met by cold brick pressing against my spine.

I looked up at the skeleton, the cocky attitude gone and replaced by this... monster.

He smirked at my terrified expression.
"That's better." He whispered.

I gulped as the scythe pressed gently on my neck bone causing me to gasp. I looked up at him desperately.

He continued to smirk down at me.

"That's enough Reaper!" The chief yelled.

Reaper looked down at my shaking form, he seemed pleased by what he had made me.

I growled and tried to push myself to my feet only to be met with the point of the scythe again.

"Sit." Reaper commanded.

I sat. Terrified of what he'd do if I didn't.

"Well then." The chief said enthusiastically, clapping his hands together.

Both me and Reaper looked at him questioningly.

"You reckon you could keep Geno here under control right Reaper?" He said.

"Yeah for sure." He replied, looking back down at me, that smirk still strong on his face.

I growled in response.

"So." The coloured skeleton said slowly.

"We have assessed that you can keep Geno under control, we've also covered the factor of Geno being to.... fragile to do prison or community work."

Reaper and I looked at each other, not really sure where he was going with this.

"So." He continued.

"I think it would be a great idea if Genos prison was situated as your house, Reaper."

We said nothing for a few seconds before Reaper exploded.

"WHAT?!?"

"Think about it." The chief said calmly.
"If he can't be with the other prisoners in the main block, then why not be with you."

Reaper growled, looking from the chief to me.

He didn't look convinced by the idea. And to be quite frank, I didn't want him to be. The thought of being with him 24 7 wasn't a good thing.

The chief sighed. "You'll be working from home every day." Reaper looked at him.

"Seriously?"

Yes, seriously."

Reaper smiled at me devilishly.

"Well then. I guess your coming home with me princess."
