Poem #159

"I'm still waiting for the day
when I can love my body the way you did
and I'll dance across the grass barefoot loving the way my hair flows
I'm still waiting for the day where I can wake up in the morning and smile
Or fall asleep without crying
But here I sit, watching the rain fall in unison with my tears
Cause I'll be waiting a life time before I'm done waiting for you to love me again."
