Reader's P.O.V
First of all, I know that once you hear my story, you're not going to believe it actually happened.
Who would?
Even I still doubt it was real or just a simple dream.
But all I know is that I was there.
Let me start from the beginning...
•••
It was an ordinary night. I was doing homework in my room. When I felt like someone was watching me. It wasn't anything new, I've always felt like being watched, but now the stare was burning my body.
I looked around but couldn't see anyone so I just continued with the schoolwork. Being paranoid was never my goal.
I would lie if I said that I love studying, but I don't hate it either. At least I do this for my future.
I've always wanted to become an actress, but my family is against this decision, they want me to become a doctor. I have nothing against doctors, I just don't want to become one of them. But I can't disobey my parents. They want the best for me so I hope they're not wrong about this. I am not an only child, fortunately.
I've got a brother named George. He's a little monster, but I love him to death. He's the best thing that's ever happened to me. Maybe he's only 5, but I can sense the bad boy in him. He's a very handsome little guy, with brown eyes and black curly hair, but somehow dad hates his curls. Everyone thinks he's a girl because of his beauty and hair. But I love them. I always play with his curls when he's asleep. That's the only condition where everyone looks so innocent and peaceful.
You probably guessed that I am in fact a geek...
I've read tons of books, but I think the only book that I genuinely liked was called "Fairy Tales". I read them to my brother every night before I tuck him in and I grew to love them as well.I know you probably think I'm a bit weird to love fairy tales at the age of 15, but I just do. They feel like a safe haven from this hell of a world.
So here I am (Y/N) (Y/L/N), a 15-year-old student with a normal life. I've got (E/C) eyes and (H/L) (H/C) hair. I love reading, singing, and drawing.
I love it when I draw nature, but recently I grew to like drawing eyes. Dreamy, mysterious eyes. I've been seeing them in my dreams for this past week. I don't think it's anything important, they're just dreams. But I'm still a little suspicious about all this. Mostly because George told me he saw a figure in our window yesterday. Well, he probably saw a tree, otherwise who would come in our backyard at midnight and look into our window? That would be creepy. Very creepy.
So I think that's a bit of information, for now, no wait, I've got to tell you that my birthday is coming up! Well, it's in two days actually. I don't plan anything huge, just a family dinner and presents. I've searched for them for a while but couldn't find any. It's a surprise probably. I just hope they don't forget it. They've never had.
I closed my maths homework and put it in my backpack. I'm done with assignments, what time is it again?
I looked at my left where my nightstand is placed and checked the time. 11:11. Hmm, should I make a wish?
Nah, it's stupid. I shook my head while turning the lights off and got ready for bed, as I lay down beside my sleeping brother. We've got a spare room but it's called mine. It used to be.
I'm so jealous of people who close their eyes and immediately fall asleep, seriously how? Whenever I try to go to sleep my brain reminds me of every embarrassing moment I've had in life.
