Reader's P.O.V

What's the ship doing here?

Is this why Pan didn't want me to go out?

Maybe them being here isn't bad. Maybe I can sneak into the Roger! But I don't think they can leave. Wait.... So, can I finally see the one and only Captain Hook? Dang, I wonder if he looks like Colin O'dologhue, or the one with perms. Ooh, now I'm curious.

I kept wondering about the scenery I've just encountered but couldn't decide if I should go back to the ocean or not.

''Can you at least once, do as I say?'' I jumped on my place, startled from the voice behind me.

''What are you talking about?'' I asked innocently, but come on, fooling him? Yeah, not today.

He raised his eyebrow as if mocking me. ''Fine, I went out, so?'' I sighed defeated and crossed my arms over my chest.

''So? SO? Sometimes it's good to actually use your brain, girl. What if they saw you?'' I stood still, as he became furious. ''This is not a joking matter. So, when I say to stay on your ass and don't move, you do as I say, got it?'' His face was inches away from mine as his eyes bore into mine with that death glare, which sent shivers down my spine.

''I'm not going to turn myself into your lost puppy!'' Stepping back from him, I released a shaky sigh, complete contrast to the firm voice I spoke to him.

''Don't raise your voice at me, girl.''

''Then don't order me around!''

''Do you ever listen? Quiet down!''

''No, you be qui-'' In a millisecond he was behind me and his hand had covered my mouth, making me shut up. I tried to get him off of me but he held me tight and whispered in my ear.

''Shh. Listen.''

I stopped moving around and obeyed his words.

''Hey! Be careful you fools! He might appear in any second!'' I heard a very raspy voice order around.

The sound of leaves crouching under a pressure of feet was heard closer to the cave. Without noticing, Pan had moved us in the dark corner, but his hand hadn't uncovered my mouth yet.

''C-captain?'' Shaky voice called out as the shadow appeared near the entrance. Outline of two figures kept talking.

''What.'' The taller and kind of broad shouldered shadow spat out.

''I-I-I.. th-the c-cave, Capt-ain.'' I gasped at this but my voice was muffled by Pan's hand.

''Cave?'' The shadow became larger as the figure finally decided to show himself. ''Hmm, good job, Mr. Smee, you've found a cave. Now, please tell me, how on earth are we going to eat this?'' The terrifying man turned around and pressed the sharp hook on Smee's neck. The said man started shaking from fear as his words came out as stutters.

''I-I C-captain, I-I..'' Captain slowly took away his hook and ended the small chubby man's suffering.

''Stop wasting my time, now join the crew and find as much food as you can. I'll take a look around, maybe...maybe I can find her.'' His voice went quiet towards the end of the sentence but the captain quickly regained his posture as one last order was heard before the chubby man ran away with his wobbly legs. ''Get lost.''

He stood there for a while, looking around, but not coming into the cave. Soon the footsteps was heard as the captain walked away with his cloak rustling loudly as it cleaned the footprints of its owner.

We stood there for another minute, his hand still sealing my mouth as my back was pressed against his firm chest.

''He's gone.'' The hand slowly released me as a sign left my lips.

''Who's her?'' I asked him after some time, but he didn't even look at me. Right then I remembered how tense he became when Hook said he would look for her. Somehow I didn't like this person already. ''Well?''

''Stay here.'' Not even a glance or another word, he flew away and left me fuming and confused about everything, but one thing was sure, this girl is important to both Hook and Pan.
