One night changes everything

3 days have passed. Regina's parents are coming down for a visitor today. Regina was rushing around the house making sure everything looked perfect. "Regina calm down" Emma says while on the sofa. Regina walked past her to the other side of the room stressed and said "I don't have time to calm down. I need to get everything looking perfect" as Regina walked past Emma again the blonde grabbed her and pulled her onto her lap.

"There here to see you not the house. Besides you made it look great and if you don't stop it's not good for the baby" Emma says before kissing her cheek. Regina looked at her and started kissing her deeply. During the kiss Regina's parents knocked the door. Regina looked round so quickly she felt of Emma's lap. "Wow... crap... there here" Regina says falling before sitting up.

Regina stood up and ran to the door. She fixed her hair and took a deep breath. She looked round at Emma with a little fear in her eyes. Emma nodded gently and Regina opened the door. Her mother Cora opened her arms and said "Regina" she was Puerto Rican and still had the accent. Regina hugged her mother tight. Her father Henry joined the hug. As they pulled away smiling Regina said "I missed you both so much. There's someone I want you to meet"

Both her parents smiled in excitement. "Ow yes. Boyfriend" Cora said smiling. They followed Regina into the lounge and saw the blonde on the sofa. "Ow? Who's this Regina?" Cora asked looking confused why a girl is there. Emma stood up as Regina walked over to her. "This is Emma" Regina says before putting her arm around her and saying "this is my err... my girlfriend" Cora and Henrys face both dropped. Regina held onto Emma and said "please don't be mad. Emma is an amazing person who is so smart and beautiful and I love her"

Her parents were still speechless. Emma smiled softly to herself hearing Regina say she is in love with her. Henry finally said "your gay?!?" Regina's eyes teared up and she said "please don't hate me. I'm still Regina. I'm still your daughter" Cora wasn't shocked anymore. She was angry. "Your dating a girl?!? After what we told you" Cora snapped to Regina. A tear rolled down the brunette daughters cheek. "Please don't shout it's not good for the baby" Emma says putting her hand over Regina's stomach.

"You... you let her get you pregnant" Cora says shocked again. Regina nodded awkwardly. She pulled away from Emma and walked to her parents. "Mum. Dad. I'm so happy with Emma. She is so smart and she speaks 5 different languages including Spanish. Please accept me. I don't care if you don't accept gays just accept me and Emma. My child needs its  grandparents" Regina says looking at them both with watery eyes.

Both her parents calmed down a little but still not happy. With her left hand Regina held Coras hand and with her right she held Henrys. She placed her parents hands on her stomach and said "I have a child in there that needs you... both of you... and I need you. Please" Henry pulled Regina into a hug and said "ok. I can accept you and your girlfriend. Your my little umpa lumpa" Regina's eyes widened at the sound of her old nick name. Emma chuckled slightly and said "I'm sorry what was that"

Regina looked round at Emma and stared at her. Usually this meant Emma would stop or something but she couldn't help laughing. "Awe little umpa lumpa" Emma says giggling to herself. Regina sighed and said "it's the nick name he always gave me... coz I was always so small" Emma started laughing again but trying to be quiet. "That is the best" Emma says smiling at her. Regina pouted and put her middle finger up. Her parents always embarrassed her like this.

Regina then looked at her mother and said "mum" Cora looked at Emma then back at Regina. She has never seen her daughter so happy with someone so happy. She pulled Regina into a hug and said "I love you sweetie" tears started streaming down Regina's face hearing her mother accept her. They pulled away and Cora held Regina's face in her hands. "I don't like this at all but you are my daughter and I can see how happy you make each other" she says looking into her eyes.

Regina smiled brightly with Cora following. Henry went over to Emma and said "make sure you look after my baby girl ok" Emma nodded and held her hand out. Henry shook it and said "thank you" Regina saw and smiled softly at them. Henry looked back at Regina and said "how far in the pregnancy are you" Emma put her arm around her as Regina said "3 months now. I'm hoping for a girl but Emma wants a boy. Our deal is whoever guesses the sex right picks the name"

After a few hours they were all talking. Kat knocked on the door. Emma answered it and gave Kat a fist pump. They then went in and Cora hugged Kat. "Katerina" Cora says excited. Regina giggled and didn't both saying anything. "No Mrs mills it's Katherine. Not Katerina" Kat says pulling away. Cora kissed her left cheek then right cheek then left cheek again. Regina smiled and said "ow yeah my parents are here now" as Cora turned around and Kat put her middle finger up at Regina and Emma.

Henry stood up and hugged Kat. "It's nice to see you again" he says holding her close. Kat hasn't see Regina's parents in years. She sat down next to Regina on the end of the sofa. "Do they know about you and em" Kat whispered to Regina. She nodded and whispered over her shoulder "yeah. They took it surprisingly ok. That confused me a little" Kat giggled and rested her head on Regina's shoulder. "At least your both happy with a child" she says hugging her from behind.
