One night changes everything

It's been 5 years. Henry is 8 years old and loves football. The twins are 5 years old. Dayanara is a girly girl and looks just like Regina. Lucas tries playing football with Henry but they end up arguing about it. Ruby and Zelena got married and are so happy together. Anna died slowly in hospital which broke her children's hearts. Emma was also upset. Leonard and Emilia grew up and moved to Anna's family home. They didn't want to be an in the way of there family. Emma was outside in the garden playing football with Henry.

She was in goal as he took a shot at her. Daya was playing with her dolls on the floor away from them. Lucas was watching Emma and Henry. Regina was in the kitchen washing some dishes. She was looking out the window at the beautiful family in front of her. She smiled and dried her hands. Ruby was sat on a chair at the table. Regina looked over at them and said "I adore them so much. Ruby do you think you and Zelena will adopt or get a sperm donor to have a baby"

Ruby shrugged her shoulders as she sipped her hot drink. Regina went over and sat down next to her with her drink. "I don't know. We never really thought about having kids. What does it feel like to be a mum" Ruby asked as Regina put her drink down. Regina looked out the glass door at her family and smiled. "It's the most amazing thing in the world. Having a family is great and you'd make an amazing mum" Regina says now looking back at Ruby who smiled at the comment.

"Awe you really think so" she says softly. Regina nodded and held her hand across the table. "You'll make an amazing mum. You and Zelena" she says with a soft smile. Emma came in with Henry both covered in mud. Regina laughed and said "what happened" Lucas then came in annoyed. Also covered in mud. "Henry tried a slid tackle and ended up spraying up with a mud puddle. Then mum thought it was funny to throw me and Henry into the mud puddle" he says with a straight face. Daya walked came skipping in and over to Regina.

Regina was laughing and said "you guys are so weird" Regina stood up and took Dayanara's hand. She went over to the island and sat the little girl on it. Emma went over and hugged Regina tight. Covering her in mud. Ruby laughed as she went over to the island. "Really" Regina says with a sigh. Emma laughed and kissed her cheek. Regina looked at her and said "you do look cute with all that mud on you though" she pecked her lips so she didn't get anymore mud on her. Emma then went around the island and hugged Ruby.

Also covering her in mud. She then took the boys upstairs to get them bathed. She helped Lucas and then let Henry get his while she had a shower. Regina and Ruby changed into something that wasn't covered in mud. They were talking more. There was a hard knock on the door. Regina answered it and saw a tall brunette guy she recognised. "Max? Is that you" Regina says shocked. "Hey. It's been a long time" he says awkwardly with a smile. Regina jumped up and hugged him tight.

She had her arms around his shoulders and her legs around his waist. He had his arms around her back. "I've missed you" he says still holding her close. "I've missed you two" she says with a soft smile on her face. Emma came down the stairs with the boys. She saw Regina hugging this guy. She went over to the door and said "umm... hey" Regina jumped down and said "hey em. This is max. He was a close friend in college but we broke apart when we left" Emma relaxed when she said friend.

"Max this is my wife Emma" she says looking over at max. He looked confused at Regina and said "you got a wife? I didn't know you were gay. You definitely didn't seem gay in college" he had a smirk on his face that Emma didn't like. She looked at Regina who bit her lip awkwardly. "Ow yeah we kinda got drunk lots of times and had sex during most of them" she says awkwardly and held Emma's hand. "On that note is going" Emma says not like this convention. She walked of to the lounge.

Regina looked back at max and said "so what are you doing here" he smiled and said "I was in town on a tour for my music and heard you live with a rich person. Didn't know it was your wife" she smiled and bit her lip. "Yeah. I actually have 3 kids. My oldest Henry and my twins Daya and Lucas" she says thinking about her family. "Where are you staying" she asked with a smile. He ran his fingers through his hair and said "granny's probably" Regina shook her head and said "stay here. As you can tell this is a big house and has the room"

He smiled and she invited him in. "Is your wife going to be ok with this" he asked as she closed the door. Regina looked at him and said "her names Emma and I don't see why she wouldn't be" they went to the lounge and Regina said "hey Max is gonna stay here a few days" Emma's head snapped up. She wasn't happy. She didn't want to make a scene in front of everyone so she gave Regina a look and went to the kitchen. "I'll be back in a moment" Regina says confused and followed Emma.

"No way" she says before Regina gets to her. "What do you mean no way? He's a friend who needs somewhere to stay" Regina says with a slightly annoyed tone in her voice. Emma looked at her with her eyebrows raised and said "someone you've had sex with Regina. He's clearly not just a friend" Regina crossed her arms and pouted her lips annoyed. "Don't you dare get like that with me. He will be in a completely separate room from us" she says annoyed. Emma could tell just by looking at max he was a trouble maker and a badass musician.
