One night changes everything

It's been a few days now. Emma's nan already knows about the engagement and is so happy for them. Regina's mother doesn't know yet. Today is the day Regina tells her. She knows Cora still isn't to happy about them dating so she is petrified about telling her there getting married. "Emma I'm not sure we can tell her yet. How about we get married and tell her after the wedding. Then it's to late" Regina says walking back and forth across the bedroom.

Emma had Henry in her arms holding him close while sat on the bed. "Gina it will be fine. I'm sorry I can't be here with you but no one else can cover my shift" Emma says standing up. Regina walked over and flopped onto the bed. She sighed and said "i know. God can we get married now so when she kills me at least we're married" Emma laughed and said "you'll be fine" Regina lifted her head up and said "I know" she crawled down the bed and next to Emma.

She rested her head on Emma's lap and held Henrys hand with her finger. "I love you both" she says with a soft smile. Regina kissed Henrys cheek softly. After about an hour Emma started getting dressed for work. Regina sat in her bed breastfeeding Henry. She watched as Emma got dressed. "Enjoying the view there" Emma says pulling her jeans up. Regina winked and said "sorry. Hormones" Emma frowned and said "I thought they only happened while your pregnant"

Regina smirked and said "yeah and when I look at you in your sexy little bra" Emma licked her top lip and blew a kiss at her. Regina laughed and pulled Henry away. She lifted her top up. She got out of bed and put Henry down in his cot in there room. Emma picked her top up from the floor and felt Regina's arms around her waist. "I love you" Regina says smiling. Emma quickly turned around in Regina's arms and lifted her up bridal style. She threw Regina onto the bed making her laugh lots.

"I love you two" Emma says smiling. She put her top on and then her red leather jacket. Regina was still giggling and laughing on the bed. Emma picked Henry up and said "when your done laughing meet me downstairs" Regina stood up still laughing and they walked to the door. They went downstairs with Henry on Emma's hip and Regina holding her hand. Shortly after Emma had to go to work and Regina was at home with Henry. She was use to that now since she still hasn't gone back to work.

The front door knocked. Regina put Henry down in his bouncy chair. She went to the door and answered it to her mother. "Hey mum" Regina says hugging her. Cora smiled and said "hey sweetie" she then closed the door and they went to the lounge. Cora picked Henry up and sat down with him. Regina put her hand over the ring to try cover it. "Ok mum I need to tell you something now" Regina says nervously. Cora looked up clueless and said "what's up Gina" Regina smiled brightly and said "me and Emma... were going to get married"

Cora's face dropped. "What" she says in a stern accent. Regina looked a little upset and said "mum don't freak out" Cora stood up and put Henry into a bouncer. She then looked back at Regina and said "your marrying her?! Your having a gay wedding... with a woman" Regina stood up and said "mum please" "sit down" Cora says annoyed. Regina sat down scared. "You had to know I was going to marry her one day. I'm crazy in love with her" Regina says softly and gently.

Cora frowned and said "I thought it was you going threw a phase. You've got to be kidding me" Regina stood back up annoyed and said "I can't believe this" "Regina this is a huge thing and I know your father wouldn't be happy with this" she says interrupting. Regina was now annoyed and said "don't bring dad into this. I don't care what you say. I love her. I want to marry her and I'm gonna marry her whether you like it or not. I've wanted to marry her for awhile and she actually proposed to me in the cutest way" Cora looked really angry at her.

"I'm not letting you marry a girl" she says angry. "Well you don't have a saying in it. Get out of here I don't want you in my house. Better yet I don't want you at my wedding. Get out" Regina says with tears in her eyes but angry. Cora walked out of the room angry. "I don't want you to have anything to do with my family" Regina says loudly and annoyed. Cora carried on walking and said "well i don't worry I won't. Good luck with your gay wedding"

Regina ran after her and shouted "it's a wedding! Just because we're both girls doesn't make it different from a normal wedding" Cora slammed the door shut making a loud bang. Henry then started crying. Regina ran back and picked him up. She started rocking him to calm him down. "Come on Henry" she says now starting to cry. Her phone started ringing. It was Emma. She answered it and said "hey" Emma could tell she was crying. "Baby what's wrong" Emma says quickly.

Regina had calmed Henry down and had him in her arms. "She didn't take it well at all" Regina says a little upset. "And then Henry started crying which made me cry and I'm a huge mess. I think these stupid hormones last after the birth. I should have asked" she continued. Emma pulled her jacket on and said "ok I'm coming home to check on you. Its my break so I'll be there in a bit" Regina sighed and said "no don't if you come I won't want you to leave"

By now Emma was already driving. "Fine. We can talk about this when I'm home" she says still driving and heading to her house. Regina wiped her tears and said "I love you and I still want to marry you" Emma smiled and said "I love you two" Emma then arrived at her house. It was only about a minute drive away from the house. "I can't believe she did this" Regina says bouncing Henry on her knee. Emma knocked on the door and said "i know I'm sorry" Regina stood up and said "crap someone is at the door. Bare with me"

Emma smiled and waited. Regina opened it and saw Emma. "Hey beautiful" she says over the phone looking at Regina. The brunette smiled nd hugged her. Tiring not to crush Henry. Regina then started crying again in Emma's arms. "I know sweetie. It's hard" Emma says holding her close. Regina was crying loudly and lots. "I can't believe my own mother hates me. I wish dad was here" she says still crying. Emma rubbed her back and kissed her head. "I know. We all have people we want here" Emma says holding her close.
