One night changes everything

The next morning. Regina and James had fallen asleep on the sofa. Regina was at up with her head leaned against her arm on the side of the sofa. James was led down with his head on her lap. Emma had Henry and went downstairs. She smiled seeing them. Hermione came down after Emma and smiled at them. Once everyone was awake they all went out for the day. Regina and Hermione stayed at home with Henry. Hermione's back and feet hurt so she stayed. Regina had to look after Henry since he didn't feel to good.

Hermione started feeling a pain in her stomach. She's been feeling it for the last half hour. Every few minutes or so. She assumed it was a stomach pain. "Ow god that one hurt" she says sitting up. Regina looked at her confused and said "what's wrong" she rubbed her stomach and said "I keep getting these pains" Regina sat up and felt the stomach. "Honey I think your in labour" she says looking up at her. Hermione shook her head and said "no I have another month at least"

Regina shook her head. Hermione's water then broke. "Regina... my water just broke. My water just broke. I'm in labour and I can't do this" she says starting to panic. Regina stood up and quickly put Henry in his cot. She helped her stand up and said "just take deep breath" she started taking deep breaths and then felt it again. This one was really painful. Her eyes were teared up and she said "Gina I can't go into labour. I can't do this I'm not ready. The babies aren't ready" Regina's frowned at her. "Babies" she asked confused.

Hermione nodded and said "I'm having twins. It's meant to be a surprise for people" she then got another one. "Ok I'll drive you to the hospital. My neighbour is nice so she will watch Henry" Regina says grabbing her phone. She called her next door neighbour. "Hello" she says answering. "Hey Abby. I have to take my niece to the hospital she's going into labour. Can you watch Henry for me" Regina says quickly. Abby nodded and said "yes of course. I'll be there in a second"

Regina hung up and looks dat Hermione who was having another one. "Deep breaths. You can do this" she says holding her hands. Hermione was now crying and scared. "Regina I can't do this. I can't be a mother. I can't give hope and Liam the life they need" she says sobbing. She felt another one which was very painful. "You can and you will. Now whether you like it or not these baby's are coming and there coming now" Regina says making sure she is looking at her.

Hermione nodded and said "ok... ok let's get to the hospital" Regina smiled and helped her out the house. Abby came to the door and said "good luck" she then went into the house and into the lounge to see Henry. Regina got into the car with Hermione and drove down to the gate. The guard let her out and they went to the hospital. Abby lived in the few houses opposite them since they didn't have people next to them. Once at the hospital they put her in a wheelchair and pushed her to a room with Regina following.

Regina called Chris and waited. He answer and said "hey Gina what's up" she had hold of the young girls hand and said "I'm at the hospital with Hermione. She has gone into labour" Chris looked shocked and said "what? Ow my god. I don't know the way there" Regina quickly said "ask Emma to drive you and Elsa down h" she was interrupted by Hermione screaming. The nurse looks sup and said "she's at 10cm already. She's ready to go to the delivery room"

Regina nodded and said "Chris get Emma to drive you, Elsa and James. Your not going to get here in time so I have to go with her. I'll see you in a bit bye" before Chris could say anything Regina had to hand up. "Gina do leave me please" Hermione says scared. Regina kept hold of her hand and said "I'm not. Your ready to deliver so let's go" they pushed the bed  Hermione was on into the delivery room. She girl was sweating and breathing heavily. She screamed loudly as they push her into the room.

She held onto Regina's hand and said "I'm gonna kill him" Regina looked confused and said "who" Hermione looked at her and said "my ex boyfriend. The dumbass that got me here" she then got another contraction and screamed. She squeezed Regina's hand tight while getting it. "Are you ready" the nurse says at the end of the bed. Hermione nodded and took a deep breath. Regina put one arm around her and held the other hand. "You can do it. Think about happy things in your life" Regina says smiling.

Hermione nodded and took a deep breath. "Alright push" the nurse says. Hermione pushes with all her strength. She screamed loudly while doing it. When she stopped she took deep breaths. "Ok the head is out. One more push" the nurse says looking up. The young girl nodded and looked at Regina. "Thank you for being here" she says smiling softly but crying. Regina kissed her head and said "always. One more push and the first baby is out"

Hermione nodded and looked at the nurse. She nodded so Hermione pushed again. Squeezing Regina's hand and screaming even more Han before. She relaxed as the baby came out. She caught her breath and could hear the sound of a baby crying. "It's a boy" the nurse says rapping the baby in a blue towel. Hermione smiled and said "Liam is out. One more" Regina kissed her head and said "one more come on and then you are done" the nurse gave the baby to another nurse and bent back down.

"Alright now push" she says looking at the other two. Hermione nodded and pushed. She squeezed Regina's hand hard while screaming like the other times. Another 2 more pushes and the second baby was out. This one was the girl. Hermione relaxed and more tears fell down her face. She then heard the sound of the baby girl crying. "Hermione look at me. You just delivered 2 baby's and now you can relax" Regina says making sure she's looking at her. Hermione nodded and smiled.

The nurse put the baby boy in Hermione's arms. They rapped the girl in a pink blanket and gave her to Regina. She looked down at the little girl and smiled. Regina put the girl in Hermione's arms and said "congratulations mummy. 2 beautiful twins" tears left Hermione's eyes as she looked down at them. "What's wrong" Regina asks looking at her. She smiled and said "nothing. I'm just so happy I have them" Chris then came walking into the room quickly. "Is it over" he asks coming over. Regina nodded while smiling.

He came over and Regina put her arm around him. "Where's Emma" Regina asks looking around. Chris smiled and said "parking the car. It's only us two. Why is there an extra baby" Hermione and Regina laughed. "I had twins instead. I just wish that Alex was here to see them" Hermione says looking down. "I know sweetie. What's there names" Chris asks looking down at her. The young girl looked up and said "the boy is called Liam and the girl is called hope" Chris kissed Hermione's head softly and said "well done my girl"

Emma walked into the room and said "hey guys" she stood next to Regina and saw Hermione with the two babies. "There's two. Does the hospital know your holding more than one child" Emma asks putting her arms around Regina. Hermione giggled and said "yes I had twins. Liam and hope" Regina smiled brightly and said "can I hold one" Hermione nodded and said "of course" regina kissed Emma's cheek and went over to the bed. She picked up the baby in the pink blanket.

"Hello there hope. There so cute Hermione" she says holding the baby close. A tall brunette boy walked into the room. They all looked over confused except Hermione. "Who are you" Chris asks confused. "Alex" Hermione says shocked. Regina looked round at her and said "what the guy that got you pregnant" tears came to Hermione's eyes and she said "yeah... What are you doing here"
