"So Jimin, how did you and Yoongi became friends?" Jin hyung asked as he was deboning the fish to feed his younger brother.
"Oh, I confessed to him. He said we can be friends at least."
Yoongi reached for his water as his food stuck in his throat and he tried to cough it out but it got worse.
"Wow." Jin hyung's eyebrows went missing under his bangs. "How can you like this guy?"
Instead of answering, Jimin smiled.
Yoongi had expected for things to be weird between them after the sudden burst of physical affection he did just now in his room but Jimin simply smiled at him before patting his shoulder and left to the kitchen, leaving Yoongi groaning in regret as he cupped his face.
"Can we not talk about this?" Yoongi muttered out once his coughing fit had subsided.
"Okay, okay." Jin hyung raised one hand up. "Yoongi, bring these to aunty's."
Yoongi nodded as he looked at the containers of food Jin hyung had prepared.
---
"Who's aunty?" Jimin asked as they walked towards the house at the next corner.
"My aunt. She lives alone so Jin hyung cooks for her for the whole week."
"That's good of him."
"Yeah."
"Yoongi..."
The older turned to look at the younger, who was still in his uniform.
"Thanks. For bringing me home tonight."
Yoongi shrugged. "Whatever."
Jimin smiled as he suddenly waved his hand and a taxi stopped next to them. "I should get going. See you in school."
It took Yoongi a few seconds to nod at Jimin and he watched as the taxi drove off to the distance.
Back on his bed, Yoongi kept on rubbing his chest. It felt stuffy and uncomfortable.
It started when Jimin suddenly left.
Perhaps he ate too much at dinner and it gave him a heartburn.
Or he walked too soon after eating.
Whatever it was, Yoongi hated it.
---
"Hey Yoongs!"
Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"Yoongs! Wait up!"
The pale boy turned around to see a student running up towards him. "Hey. You done with the questionnaire?"
Yoongi frowned in confusion.
"It's me, Hoseok. Class president."
"Ah... No wonder you look familiar."
"Dammit at least learn my face, dude."
Yoongi shrugged.
"Questionnaire. I need it now."
Yoongi reached into his bag to hand the smiling boy his piece of paper.
"Thanks dude."
"Sure."
----
"So anyways, I told her, I like her but she was like 'No you don't! You just like the idea of dating me!'. Like how cliché can that be? Does she think she's in a drama? But she's sweet. I actually really do like her though."
Yoongi kept his eyes on the boy who had been talking to him for the past 5 minutes. He leaned closer from his chair to the one the boy was sitting opposite him. "Why are you here again, prez?"
Hoseok clicked his tongue at Yoongi. "I told you to learn my name."
"No, you said to learn you face. I did. Now why are you here?"
Hoseok frowned. "Because this is my class too?"
"No I mean, here as in in front of me, talking to me."
Yoongi looked around to see some of his classmates eyeing them oddly, more so at Yoongi than at Hoseok.
"What, I can't talk to my friend?"
"Since when are we friends?"
"Since this morning. Anyways, like I was saying, I kind of like her but I guess she had too much drama to handle so I'm thinking of cutting it off but then again, she can be super sweet sometimes so..."
Yoongi was already not listening as he looked outside the window of his class, his eyes caught the figure of that small boy.
He was again scolding a group of boys loitering around and when the boys left, he turned to walk off, only to stop still.
Yoongi kept his eyes on Jimin.
He watched as Jimin bent down to support his weight with his hands on his knees, before slowly kneeling down and finally his body slumped on the ground.
Yoongi got up so fast his chair squeaked on the floor and his desk moved abruptly, making Hoseok stopped his train of words. "What's wrong?" Hoseok asked but Yoongi was already running out of the class.
He didn't even know what to do once he got to Jimin. He just wanted to make sure he was okay.
A student ending up dead in school might not be a good thing for the school's reputation. And he liked this school.
"Hey!" He called up to Jimin who was already up and standing, brushing the dirt off his uniform.
Jimin looked up and smiled. His crescent eyes made Yoongi sighed in relief.
"What happened?"
"Hmm?" Jimin eyed him weirdly.
"I saw you on the ground just now."
Jimin looked up to Yoongi's classroom window. "Ah... It was nothing. I felt dizzy."
"Lack of sugar again?"
"Probably." Jimin smiled.
"You should go to the nurse's office though."
Jimin waved his hand to dismiss the suggestion. "I'm fine."
Yoongi stared at the boy for a few seconds before shrugging his shoulder and turned around. Then only he felt the pain on his lower abdomen. He really should start working out if running only this much could make him tired.
"Hey, Yoongi."
Yoongi turned back around to look at Jimin.
"Can I come over again today?"
Yoongi turned around fast so Jimin couldn't see him smiling. It wasn't as if he was happy Jimin was coming over again. He just had a bunch of homework he could ask Jimin to help with.
"Sure." He said as he walked back to class, taking deep breaths in hoping the pain in his abdomen could lessen by the time he reached his desk.
He noticed however, he was skipping as he got closer to his chair.
"Why do you look so happy?"
Yoongi looked up to see Hoseok looking at him like he had two heads.
"I'm not."
"Dude, you've been grinning ever since you came back to class."
