Sleepy horror - Changkyun (Monsta X)

You had known the boys for quite a while seeing you were close with Kihyun. Well, kind of. You had never really hung out with them seeing you didn't exactly live close by. You'd just share an awkward wave with most of the members while skyping Kihyun, the only ones ever staying to talk were Minhyuk and Wonho, so you had gotten to know them pretty well, seeing they never wanted to when Kihyun told them to.
Now you were moving to Seoul but just as you got to the airport, you got an e-mail saying there was a problem with your apartment complex and that you'd have to move in a week later. You were basically in full panic mode seeing you had no choice than to get on the plane, but you also had no place to stay for a week.

After going trough the long check in and control process, you video called Kihyun, hoping he could help.

"Y/N!" A loud voice yelled and Minhyuk appeared on the screen.
"Hi Minhyuk." you said, not sounding as enthusiastic as you usually did "Where's Kihyun?" You asked.
"He's taking a shower right now. What's up? Something wrong?"
You sighed and nodded "I got an E-mail saying I couldn't move into my apartment for another week, but I'm already at the airport so I don't know what to do."
"You could stay at our dorm for a week!" You heard Wonho yell from somewhere in the room before he appeared on your small screen. "Hi Wonho." You giggled at the sudden appearance of his grinning face. "Seriously though, I'm sure you could stay here for a week." Minhyuk said
"Who's staying here? Who are you talking to? Is that my phone?" Another voice sounded in the room "It's Y/N"

Minhyuk turned the phone to a half naked Kihyun to show it was you and you couldn't help but chuckle at his tactlessness. Kihyun was frozen on the spot before throwing the towel he was drying his hair with at Minhyuk's face.
"grumpy much?" Minhyuk mumbled as he turned the phone back around.

"Where would I stay though, you guys don't exactly have the most room either." You reasoned, already having thought of the idea of staying there.
"You could always sleep in my bed with me." He winked jokingly, but your face stayed unamused. "Minhyuk, remind me to slap you when I arrive."
"That's right. She'll do no such thing." Kihyun took back his phone to reveal him now fully clothed, hair still damp. "If you really have no place to go, you could always stay here, I'm pretty sure the others wont mind. I could make some arrangements." He offered.
"I really just called to ask if you knew any hotels close by that I could stay at last minute. You don't have to let me stay over." You stated but he just shook his head. "That wouldn't even be doable, I'll just talk with the others, it's fine." at that moment, your plane got called.
"ah, I need to board my plane now, I'll see how it turns out. See you later!" You said, rushing your stuff into your bag again as you hung up and went to board your plane.

After an hour you had touched down and got your heavy luggage. You passed the people that were waiting for their loved ones, and you noticed a small piece of cardboard that said " Y/N on the red sweater" You looked down at your dark red sweater and back at the piece of cardboard, chuckling as it was obviously Wonho's handwriting. The unfamiliar man signalled you over and soon took some of your luggage from you burden. "I was ask to pick you up as they couldn't come themselves." The man said and you nodded "I figured."

As you arrived at the dorm, he helped you carry your stuff upstairs and bowed to you before leaving. You were about to knock when a silent call of your name stopped you. You were greeted by Wonho's wide grin and he immediately hugged you tight. "Whua, I can't believe you're here." He chuckled.
"Wait a second." He said, obviously up to some mischief. He pulled your luggage to the sight and told you to know before hiding next to the door; and so you did.

You heard a squeal of your name as soon as the knock sounded from the door and you had to bite back a laugh. The door was rushed open to reveal Kihyun and Minhyuk tangled together, obviously trying to be first to greet you, but they were soon disappointing by the sight of Hoseok.
"Calm down, it's just me." He said, walking passed them "oh, and Y/N" he added, and you peeked your head into the door frame, and you were immediately attacked in hugs. First by Minhyuk and then Kihyun.
"Ah, I missed you." Kihyun said, not letting you go as he guided you inside, you turned a little, wanting to get your luggage, but Minhyuk and Wonho were already on it. The other members, who you were not as acquainted with, all came to greet you as well and you luggage seemed to disappear to a room.

"Jooheon will be staying in our room for the week so you can sleep in his bed. Just tell me if any of the boys are bothering you." Shownu said and you thanked him and Jooheon as well for letting you take his bed. "Don't worry, they won't be able too, I'll be on their ass." Kihyun said, resting an arm around your shoulders. "Who says we can trust you." Minhyuk glared at his statement.
"Well, I won't try anything." Changkyun raised his hand in his defence.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine." Jooheon chuckled, patting your shoulder.

Staying with the boys was actually great, you had become like a part of a big family and you were sure you were going to miss it after that week. They would too to be honest. Every day they'd go to practice and as you had the dorm to yourself, you'd often just work on whatever you felt like and try to cook for the boys before they came back. So almost every day they'd come home to fresh food. You had become quite close with IM as well. One night, you were about to watch a horror film, on your own seeing you knew some of the boys weren't really into horror, when he came into the room. He asked if he could join you so the two of you watched together on your bed. Towards the end of the film, it started to become boring and sappy, and the two of you drifted to sleep. seeing you were already close because of the laptop on both your laps, and you were slightly slumped, you ended up unconsciously cuddled into him, with his arms naturally draped around you.

When Kihyun and Minhyuk came into the room, their first instinct was to wake the maknae so they could scold and tease him, but knowing of his immense crush on you, they decided against it and just went to bed, placing the laptop on the ground first to avoid accidents. The next morning, you woke up to a deserted dorm once again, not really remembering that you had fallen asleep the way you did, and you realised it was you last day there, which made you slightly bummed.

But after they had helped you move to your apartment, they would often visit you anyway, IM often looking for any excuse to come over. He had gotten teased so bad with pictures of the two of you cuddling, while you didn't even remember, yet he kept the picture saved on his phone. One day, Kihyun showed you the picture, getting sick of sulking, love struck IM, and wanting to find out how you felt about him. He knew you were unlikely to actually tell him but the bright blush on your face spoke for itself.

So here their mission began.

They invited you over for movie night and told you you could sleep over, and you couldn't really protest. You guys watched film after film and you'd hold small breaks in between, mostly joking around. Wonho and Minhyuk were being touchy and flirty as usual and you couldn't help but laugh every time they'd use some sleazy pickup line. After the second film, IM disappeared from your midst, taking quite a while to get back.
"What's up with Changkyun?" You wondered and everyone just shrugged so you went to see if he was okay.

You found him sitting on his bed, staring a his phone.
"Hey? something up?" you asked, sitting next to him.
"No, I was just tired." He shrugged.
"Well, you could have said so." You shucked, but he only sighed, making it clear to you that something was in fact bothering him. You placed a soft hand on his, signalling that he could talk to you. So he sighed again, and sat up.
"I can't go up against my hyungs." He stated, confusing you.
"What are you talking about?"
"It's obvious they're into you. And it's even more obvious that I don't stand a chance." He blurted out before realising, and as his eyes widened, he didn't dare to look at you anymore. You chuckled, squeezing his hand tighter.

"Changkyun, for one, they are 5 years older than me and like brothers, two, They are not my type, Three, we're just joking around anyway, and four" You hesitated for a second, thinking of what to say "I like you too." You finally said and the look on his face was golden. But so was yours when his lips met with yours. The kiss was soft and innocent and the both of you smiled simultaneously, breaking the kiss. "Now let's go watch another film." You smiled, pulling him off the bed.

Your fingers were lightly intertwined as you pulled him back to the living room. "I got my horror buddy, let's watch some horror." You announced, earning some groans from the others. Changkyun went to take the empty space on the couch and you went to sit on the floor a bit further, but he pulled you back and pulled you onto his lap, hugging your waist. Your cheeks turned red in surprise, but none of the other members really gave it any notice, so you eased into him, placing your hands on his.

When the film ended, the two of you had fallen asleep again.
"Only those two could possibly fall asleep during a horror film." Jooheon stated, looking at the cute sight. "Well, I think it's mission complete though." Minhyuk smiled. "took them long enough, it's been months since we've found them all cuddled up." Wonho laughed. "You know he's had that picture as his background ever since."

Kihyun chuckled "Dork maknae."
