~Y/N's House~
~Real Life~

I turned the alarm off by smashing my alarm clock. Literally. I used my freaking fist to turn it off.

"Alarm clocks," I grumped while jumping off of my bed. "Because every morning should start with a heart attack."

Then I realized something. "Is it... wait." I looked out of the window, and saw the sun is shining bright!

"I don't get it. It was supposed to be still dark out. But... unless!" I looked at the clock.

'6:07 am'

Shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot, shoot!

Class started seven minutes ago!

I stayed up too late last night playing YanSim!

Better hurry up, Y/N! Lezzgo!

♡♡♡

I was about to turn the doorknob to my classroom when someone stopped me.

"Miss L/N?"

I winced, then I turned around slowly, facing our teacher. "Y- Yes, Miss Kagawa?"

"You're late again."

I looked down. "I know..."

Miss Kagawa crossed her arms. "This is the fourth time you're late this week."

I hung my head. "I know."

"I can tell something's wrong." Miss Kagawa looked straight into my eyes. "You can tell me what's bugging you."

"Nothing," I rolled my eyes. "My life just suck, that's all."

She gave me a sad smile. "Miss Lawson told me everything. I understand, you just need a bit help and support."

I sighed. 'Yeah, but I need much more than that,' I thought.

The school bell rang.

"Now, go to your next class." Miss Kagawa smiled, then left.

"Hey!" Michaela ran towards me. "Where've you been? Why are you late?"

"Probably because of YanSim," I shaked my head.

Michaela's eyes lit up. "Speaking of YanSim, YandereDev already implemented the male rivals!" She squealed. "They're soo cute!"

"Wooow, reeaally...?" I asked her sarcastically. "Micki, I don't need those male rivals, I need the female!"

"But still!" She pouted.

"Sorry, but... I don't really have time for this." I apologized. "I have to review my life decisions and answer why my life got into this point." I grumped, then walked away.

"Y/N?" Micki asked, running after me. "Where are you going?"

"Out of here." I said, walking past the school gates. "Just leave me alone and let me die." I crossed the street, not caring about the cars.

Then a vehicle beeped to get my attention, and it's speeding towards me.

And I don't care anymore.

"Y/N!!" Michaela shouted, yanking my arm and pulling me out of the way.

Now she's the one standing where I've been earlier.

Shoot, this is so not what I had in mind!

"Michaela!"

The car hit her just like that.

~Hospital~
~Real Life~

I'm sitting on a hospital chair, waiting for the doctor to update me about Michaela.

"Oh my god, Micki..." I muttered. "Why did you do that...?"

"Y/N!" A voice shouted.

I wiped my wet face with my hands, then looked up. It's Aunt Michelle, Michaela's mom.

"What happened to my poor girl?!" She asked me frantically.

I looked down. "It- it's all my fault, auntie. She pushed me out of the way to save my life- I- I've been such an idiot, I didn't listen to her." I explained, tears forming in my eyes.

Her expression softened. "No Y/N, it's not your fault. She chose to save you. She sacrificed herself for you, and I'm fine with that. As... as long as she's okay..."

The doctor suddenly went out the door. "So there's good news and bad news. What do you want to hear first?"

"Uh, bad news, to be different." I replied, shaking nervously.

He pushed his glasses on his nose. "Miss Lawson is currently in a coma state, and she probably won't wake up until the next 24 hours."

I looked up at Mrs. Lawson, who is clutching her shirt tightly. "A- and the good news?"

"Fortunately, there are no further injuries. Lucky her." The doctor smiled.

I breathed in relief. "Thank heaven,"
