My sweet little Jinnie

The New Arrival (part 1)

He new it. He knew that this would inevitably happen, but just not now, it's too soon. The feeling of dread and disapproval filled Jimin's being at the sight of the new hybrid kitten waddling around the living room floor as his owners cooed and coddled the fragile creature.

However, as the blonde haired cat hybrid looked over at Taehyung he couldn't help but notice the big boxy grin that had taken over his face along with the light flush adorning his cheeks and sparkle in his eyes. Apparently his companion was ecstatic at the new arrival, his body even going as far as to shake in excitement and wagging his tail, the tell-tale dull thump resounding with each swipe of his tail when it met the floor, echoing throughout the room.

Jimin couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy in the pit of his stomach, and not because his friends and family showed genuine joy for the small Norwegian forest kitten, oh no it was far from that, but because he knew that the praises and affection that were once given to Jimin were going to be directed toward the new arrival. Just the thought of it made his insides churn.

After each member passed the small creature around to one another and after making sure thrice that each member had a turn to fondle and caress the new puff ball of love they finally and reluctantly passed the new arrival to the puppy and cat hybrid. After much disputes and argument about whether one member got to spend more time with the kitten then the other member.

"No fair! Jungkook got to give Jinnie four kisses! I only got to give him three!"

"That's only because you held him 5 seconds longer than me Hobi Hyung!"

"Okay guys stop fighting over Jinnie and give him to me"

"You only want to hold him longer Namjoon Hyung! You cheater!"

"Yeah! You tell him Jungkookie!"

"W-what?! *scoff* I'm only concerned for the wellbeing of our new hybrid kitten is all!"

"Liar!"

"Okay, you know what? Just give him to me, clearly you dumbasses can't handle to care for a kitten, look your scaring him."

"Well I wouldn't have scared him if Hobi young wouldn't be such an ass!"

"*gasp* I did no such thing!!!"

"Aish! Just give him to me"

"Never!"

"Jungkook!"

Let's just say that after the dispute had taken for the worst turn Jungkook had locked himself in the bathroom with the new kitten (who's name was apparently Jinnie) after Yoongi had tried to snatch the bundle of fur from his arms.

Twenty minutes and thirty-seven seconds later (Jimin had NOT been counting) the lock of the door had finally been shoved open by an annoyed Yoongi, a screaming Hoseok, and panting, sweaty Namjoon who had apparently attempted to break the door by running into it several times but instead broke the door knob after his fingers had brushed against it.

Who knew that Namjoons braking ability would come in handy one day? So after Jungkook had been banned from touching the kitten for the rest of the day the tiny ball of fur was finally passed to Jimin and Taehyung.

All the members sat on the couch watching with bated breath as the small creature waddled to them in shy and timid strides, tripping over his paws twice and stumbling awkwardly every once and awhile every time his eyes met a soft looking toy in the corner of his eyes before returning to the task at hand.
