I happily walk down the halls of my school, a slight skip in my step some could say. I was just happy that maths was over and it's now lunch. I don't really spend my lunches with everyone else, I go to the art room.
I don't get bullied as such. Okay the occasional teasing here and there and Pansy Parkinson not knowing how to mind her own damn business but I do have friends that stand up for me when I need.

As I'm walking, I pass a familiar, attractive, platinum haired boy. He looks up and beams when he sees me.

"Hey, (Y/n)!" He grins and waves.

"Hi, Draco!" I smile back.

"Where you off to?" He asks when he notices I'm walking away from the lunch hall.

"The art room."

"Why?"

"I prefer it there. It's quiet and most of the time I'm completely alone. It nice to get away from chaos sometimes. Besides I love art!" I gasp and smile, as does he.

"Yeah I've noticed! You're actually really good, I've seen some of your work around the school. The mural was the best!" Draco praises.

"Thanks I spent so long on that!" We both chuckle and talk a little more before parting ways.

I sit silently in the art room with my pencil on my paper before I even notice; must be too eager.

The door opens and slams shut. I don't jump because I know it's a heavy door and sometimes teachers run in and out without realising that the door'll slam behind them.

I continue drawing but halt when two hands slam in front of me. I whip my head up with shock as my eyes dawn upon Pansy Parkinson.

"P-Pansy! Geez you scared me!" I place a hand on my uncontrollable beating heart.

"I saw that." She huffs.

"Saw what?"

"That little 'exchange' between you and Draco." She glares deeply through my skull but I just chuckle lightly.

"Yeah that's all it was, Pansy. An exchange of greetings and politeness. Nothing more." Or not because it seems we were both subtly flirting.

"Back. Off." She murmurs.

"Pansy, he's not yours." I remind her. "If you two were dating then I would listen but he barely even remembers your bloody name!" I laugh.

"He knows my goddamn name!" She yells.

"Really?" I ponder. "Because I do recall him calling you 'Perry' in science the other day."

Her eyes widen. "T-that's a joke between the two of us!"

She's a terrible liar.

"Pansy please. Just stay away from me. I'm allowed to talk to Draco if I want, now back. Off." I mimic what she said to me earlier.

She huffs once more and eventually leaves the room and I let out a deep frustrated sigh. She ruined my peace.

x-X-x

It's been two days and I haven't seen Pansy at all, thankfully, and I continue to talk to Draco.

I'm currently in the art room again, painting a piece I've been working in for two months. And not to be narcissistic but it's really good.
There's still a lot more to do with it but I'm gaining progress I believe.
