SORRY MY STORIES ARE ALWAYS TRAGIC OR DRAMATIC. I'M NOT TO GOOD AT WRITING STORIES THAT ARE LIKE A NORMAL LIFE. HAHA SORRY
   *2 months later*
Jack's POV
It was official. That became a routine. Every day I woke up to see Elizabeth in the bathroom. It was weird seeing such a strong woman almost crying in the bathroom. It was the same thing with the glass of water she brushed her teeth, all over again. This time I decided to do breakfast. She was already 4 months pregnant and she was already devastated. So I decided that I would go to the Infirmary, when Elizabeth was at school, to ask him what I could do to help her. She came downstairs and ate breakfast with me, she went upstairs, got dressed, brushed her teeth and her hair. I did the same and then we went together to school.
After kissing her goodbye I went to the Infirmary and started asking some questions to Carson.
Elizabeth's POV
I was having a great class. Everyone was quiet and paying attention but suddenly I started feeling dizzy, but too dizzy:
-Miss Thatcher? Are you okay?- a student asked
-Go get Mountie Jack- I said
    But suddenly everything went black.
Jack's POV
I was at the Infirmary and suddenly Hannah, a student came inside running and she said:
-Something happened to Miss Thatcher. Dr. Shepherd, you should come too.- she said.
-Elizabeth...
I went running as fast as I could because the horses were far away. Once we arrived I saw Elizabeth lying on the floor.
-Elizabeth? Can you hear me?Wake up...
Then Dr Shepherd arrived and told me to take her to the Infirmary while he looked for something in the mercantile to check on Elizabeth. I held her like the day we got married. As fast as I could I went to the Infirmary and left my wife on the bed. Then I saw Carson opening the door. He asked me to leave so he could check on the baby. Then I remember that the kids were still at school, so I went there and told them to come with me to ask RoseMary if she could replace Elizabeth. She went with all the kids to school and I headed back to the Infirmary. I knocked on the door and Carson told me to come in:
-Is she going to be okay?-I asked desperate.
-I'm not so sure. The baby is fine, the heart it's beating a little bit faster than normal, but it's okay because it was the fall, but it's normal.
-Thank God, and Elizabeth?
-Has she been throwing up too much lately?
-Every morning and sometimes during the night and the day.
-Well, that means she is weak now. Her heart is beating too slow and it won't speed up, and that can't be good.
-Oh no- I wanted o be strong, but I couldn't.
Just the thought of losing the love of my life, broke my heart. I think I never cried that much.
-Jack, you are a strong man. You will get through this.-he said while holding my shoulder. Tonight I will come to check if she is better and maybe I can see what is really happening to her.
-Okay, thank you.
That was the longer night of my life. I was hoping Elizabeth would wake up. Sometimes I putted my head on her chest to see if her heart was beating normally. Then Dr Shepherd came in to check on Elizabeth:
-Hey Jack, you can go to rest, I can stay with her.
-No it's okay, thank you
-And everyone is going to the church to pray for Elizabeth. Will you go?
-I will be here just in case. I'll be praying here. Tell everyone that I am grateful for the prayers.
-Consider it done.
-Thank you.
Then I see RoseMary comes in the Infirmary with get-well-soon cards from her students:
-Oh Elizabeth...-She said sad- Here you have Jack, they are get well soon cards for Elizabeth from her students.
-I'll give it to her if she wakes up.
-IF?! Jack Thornton! Don't talk like that? Think of what Elizabeth brought to our lives HOPE.
-Thanks RoseMary.
-Goodbye, be strong.
-Goodbye.
When she left I realized that everything was silent, so I decided to start praying, because I knew they were praying too. I was praying for 2 hours, but eventually I fell asleep. I dreamed that Elizabeth was just fine. I putted my head on her chest and her heart was beating just fine. So I called Carson and she was conscious again, then we had the baby, and he was a boy, we called him Peter, after Abigail's son. Sadly, everything was a dream. I was very disappointed when I woke up. It was 4AM when I woke up. I saw Elizabeth laying there and imagined the worse. But I had to remember what Rosemary said. Elizabeth taught us to have hope, like with Robert's sister, they had hope and everything went just fine. My only wish was to see Elizabeth awake and holding our baby:
-Elizabeth, you have to wake up. For the baby and for me. We have a long life ahead of us, and it can't end now. I'm going to tell you what I dreamt, so I won't cry.
I told her my whole dream, I didn't know if she could hear me, but I simply wanted to. When I said the name PETER I saw her finger moving. That was when I decided that if we had a boy, we would call him Peter, if she agreed. That gave me a little bit of hope. I knew that was normal, I mean, she was alive, but I liked that I was reminded that she wasn't dead, that there was a possibility that she would get better.
I didn't go to work for 2 whole days. I didn't know what was happening outside. When I went outside, I was just thinking about Elizabeth. I asked for food in Abigail's cafe, and then went back to the Infirmary. I hardly slept. Everyday was more difficult to get through. So, when a whole week passed I decided to make a little altar of Elizabeth. Just like the one she made of me when I was in the Northern territories, but with pictures of our wedding and portraits of her. I prayed and prayed, and one time I even forgot to have lunch. Sometimes I saw people open the door of the Infirmary and then immediately left, just to make sure I wasn't sick or anything.
One day they decided to do that praying thing again. Once more the street was empty and silent, and again, I started praying while holding Elizabeth's hand. I was praying for 3 whole hours. I was about to start crying, but at that moment I decided to, once more, put my ear on her chest, but that broke the routine, her heart was beating like it did before she fainted. At that moment I heard:
-Jack Thornton, what are you doing?!
- ELIZABETH?!
I started crying tears of joy. I started kissing her as if she had come back from death. I just can't describe all the joy I felt:
-Dr. Shepherd! She is awake.
He came running. And even he started crying. I went to tell the whole town about this.
