IF YOU WANT TO UNDERSTAND A LITTLE PART (INCLUDED IN LIFE IN THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES) RIP, JACK'S DOG, PASSED AWAY. (IN REAL LIFE) WE WILL ALL MISS HIM :(

JACK'S POV
I woke up in the middle of the night. I didn't know really why, but I had a tear on my face. I didn't know if something had happened, so I decided to check if everything was okay. I looked next to me, and saw my precious wife sleeping like an angel. I stood up and went to Peter's nursery. I saw him sleeping, so I decided to go back to sleep.
I was tossing around he bed, but I couldn't fall asleep. I was 2 hours in bed, trying my best to fall asleep. I started to get over the fact that I couldn't fall asleep, so I went downstairs and drank a glass of milk, which gave me a lot of energy. I was bored and really active, so I decided to go outside for a walk. Of course I left a note for Elizabeth, so she wouldn't worry.
I was in the middle of the street, when I saw a blue shoe, at least part of it laying on the floor. I could see a trail made of parts of the heel, the tongue, and more. It was all leading to a clear place, until I couldn't see anything. The shoe was "over" and there was nothing around. I picked up all the parts of the shoe and took it home, and when I saw Florence I would give it to her. I went to the lake and watched the sunrise. It was unbelievable. The beautiful colors of the sky mixed with the sunlight, all that, everyday. I couldn't believe how we always missed it. We were always asleep, never awake to see that, but that made it special. If we saw it everyday, we wouldn't appreciate it so much, because it would be a routine. After that beautiful moment, I decided to go home. I walked, and walked, while thinking about how perfect nature was. All it's beautiful animals, for example, the man's best friend, the dog. That was when I started thinking about how much I missed Rip. I was smiling and crying at the same time, thinking about all the time we spent together. Finally, I arrived.
I was sitting on the sofa, when Elizabeth came downstairs.
-Good morning Jack- she said happily-Jack?
-What? Sorry
-What's wrong?-she asked worried.
-I was thinking about Rip.
-You must really miss him.
-I do- I said, but before I could finish, she hugged me
-I know you ha...-she started saying, but Peter started crying
-It's okay, go.
-Are you sure?
-Yes, totally sure.
She went upstairs to look for Peter. She sat down on the sofa with Peter in her arms.
-I don't know what it's wrong with him. He doesn't have a fever, not hungry and doesn't need to be changed.-She said
-Really?
-Maybe he just needs his father- she said after she handed me our son.
He grabbed my finger and putted it in his mouth, and started biting me. He suddenly stopped crying.
-Oh, his teeth are coming out. I remember how Tom couldn't stop crying, until I putted my finger in his mouth.
-That's so sweet
-Just in case, let's take him to the infirmary.
-Okay, let's go.
Elizabeth got dressed and we left the house. Once we arrived, Faith received us.
-Hello! How are you?
-Hello, we think Peter's teeth are coming out.
-How old is him?
-6 months old
-Okay, sit down there-she said
-Let me see...
We putted Peter on her arms, and she said he was too cute. She checked everything, then his mouth, and she putted her finger in his mouth and said:
-Definitely, you are right. His little teeth are coming out!- she said excited.- He is growing up so fast!
-Tell me about it- Elizabeth said, and all three of us started laughing.
Then we thanked Faith and went home. We were in the middle of the street when I saw Dottie picking something up. I told Elizabeth to go home while I did something. I went closer to Dottie and said:
-Mrs. Ramsey, is everything alright?
-No, my shoe...
-Oh, I know what it is- I said- I promise I'll get that rat
I kept walking for 10 minutes, when I saw a little animal lying on the floor, with a shoe in his mouth. It was a puppy. He was very tiny, about 2 months old. He was a small golden retriever.
-Hello buddy- I said petting him- Oh no, give me that shoe.
I looked at the shoe, and it was mine. I started laughing, because he was too cute, and I didn't really care about that shoe. I started thinking where his mother was, or even siblings. I walked a little bit more, looking for more dogs, until I saw how he ran towards me. That was too cute, so I picked him up and took him home with me. I didn't know if Elizabeth would let me keep him, but I needed to give him some food, water and give him a little bath, he was filthy. I started going home, when I saw another little puppy. He was laying in the middle of the street. I saw how someone was coming on a horse, and almost ran over her. Luckily I grabbed her before the accident happened. This little female puppy had a little bit more ginger hair. Finally I arrived home, and decided show Elizabeth the puppies:
-Hello Elizabeth-I said
-Hello, what are you going to ask me to do? You sound suspicious
-Well, remember how I miss Rip
-Yes, and I'm sorry about that
-Well, look what I found- I said while showing her the puppies.
