Jimin: We should divorce!
I was shocked. My face turned serious but he was still smiling. Why Jimin? I thought you loved me?
Me: W-why?
I started stuttering. I felt tears roll down my cheeks as I looked away from him.
Jimin: Oh y/n, don't think of it as a bad thing. I love you a lot. You know that.
Me: Then why?
Jimin: I want to divorce and restart. We can still be a couple but I want to restart all of this. I want to marry you for real and not being forced.
Me: That's all?
Jimin: Yep.
Me: Oh my goodness Jimin! YOU SCARED ME!
I started hitting his chest and he was just laughing. How you dare? How you dare? How you dare?

Jimin: This might sound crazy but I already booked a meeting at the courthouse to sign the papers.
Me: Now!?
Jimin: Yes now. So let's go!
Me: O-ok.
We got off the playground and headed to the car. I took one last look at the park before getting in the car. I can't believe we're together after such a long time.
Jimin: You coming?
Me: Oh y-yeah.
I got in the car and closed the door. I put my seat belt on and he started driving. I turned on the radio and 'Boombayah' But BLACKPINK was on. I started singing and dancing in my seat while Jimin looked at me like I was psycho.
Me: What!? This is my jam.
Jimin: What do you mean?
Me: Of course you don't understand. You have no jams.
Jimin: HEYYYY
Me: You deserve that.
We laughed and after a little more talking we arrived at the courthouse. We walked into the courthouse and I was sweating and I shouldn't be. We're not leaving each other.
We got to the front desk and Jimin started talking to the receptionist.
Jimin: Hi. We're here for our appointment to sign the papers.
Receptionist: Down the hall to the left.
She sent a wink at jimin and a 'call me sign'.
Me: Back off.
Receptionist: Why? You guys are divorcing anyway.
Me: And you don't know the whole story so back off.
I grabbed Jimin's arm and started walking with him down the hall to the left.
Jimin: I hate when girls do that it's disgusting.
Me: I hate when girls do that to you too.
Jimin: I love it when you're mad.
I sent him a death glare and we entered the conference room. We both sat down in front of the worker and they handed us the papers. I signed it and so did Jimin.
They gave us a nod and announced we are officially not married anymore. I was sad but glad we can be together by love and not forced.
We headed out the door and got to our car. Before we got in the car. He kneeled down in front of me and said.
Jimin: Y/F/N, Will you be my girlfriend?
Me: This is so stupid but yes.
He stood up and gave me a peck on the lips.
Jimin: I'm glad to be with you Y/n.
Me: I'm glad to be with you too Jimin.
We both entered the car and he started driving while holding one of my hands with his free hand.

They were 5 minutes away from home. It started getting dark. Jimin was still holding onto y/n's hand and they were going through an intersection at a traffic light. The light was green. What they didn't know was a drunk driver was going from the other way and went through a red light and hit them. They looked at each other one more time until the impact struck and their hands were no longer intertwined.
This changed their whole life forever.
