Draco felt dizzy, did he really just kiss her? like actually kiss her? not like the kiss on the cheek he gave her that day, no, this was so much better. Her lips were so soft, it actually made Draco a little self-conscious about his own lips, how rough they probably felt compared to hers. He tried to ignore it, so his attention shifted to his arm wrapped around her waist, he felt it as she bent her back slightly to bring herself closer to him, it felt amazing. He pulled away for air, but he kept their faces as close to each other's as he could, he felt her breath on his face as she silently caught her breath.

"I... I didn't know you could sing," she panted quietly, she closed her mouth and began to breathe through her nose, her breathing was still heavy though so Draco could still hear her trying to catch her breath fully.

Draco smiled, "neither did I," he admitted, he stroked her chin with his thumb, he stared at her like she was a piece of art on display that was about to disappear at any second. He wasn't about to take his eyes off of her, he didn't want her to go anywhere.

Catching him staring at her, (y/n) chuckled through her nose at Draco, "does The Beast like what he sees?" she asked, her voice small and quiet, her eyes flickered from his lips to his eyes. She bit the inside of her cheek to keep herself from passing out as he stared into his eyes.

Draco remembered her telling him that he reminded her of the Beast the night of the Yule Ball, they were in the library that night too. He smirked at her, "more than I can bear," he brushed some of her hair out of her face. "what about you, beauty? does she like what she sees?" he chuckled before leaning down to quickly kiss her again.

"This place is amazing," Draco sighed as he looked around the wonderful world that filled Newt's magical case. "I have no idea how you get yourself to ever leave," he chuckled and smiled down at (y/n), who was sitting on the grass next to him.

(y/n) shrugged, "I know the outside world can be an incredible place as well," a small smile spread across her face. She took a deep breath as she laid back on the grass, looking up at the sky as she put her hands behind her head.

Draco sat down on the grass next to her, leaning back on his hands and looking up at the sky as well. It was so weird, he seemed different when he was with her, but he didn't understand why... was it because he liked her? "I wouldn't leave if I had the choice..." he admitted, "I could stay here forever," he sighed.

(y/n) rolled her eyes, "you wouldn't be saying that if you saw the tundra area," she chuckled, "there are some nasty little buggers down there."

Draco leaned over to look down at her, he smiled down at her, "I think I'd be okay... because if I was in here you would be too? wouldn't you?" his smile shifted into a small smirk.

"I don't know," (y/n) teased, "it might be fun, watching you try to navigate through this place, fighting off the creatures that try to attack you because you trespass on their areas without me or Newt," (y/n) chuckled when she saw Draco's smirk turn into a small look of fear.

"tsk," Draco hissed and rolled his eyes, "you're just saying that you know you love me," Draco smirked again. He leaned closer to her, blocking her line of sight from the sky.

(y/n) shivered, "wh... I.. uh... I don't... I mean.." she stuttered, becoming more and more flustered the more she tried to explain, the more she tried to talk.

Draco just chuckled and shook his head in response, leaning down and closer to her. Just when (y/n) thought Draco was about to kiss her, right as they were millimeters apart from each other, right when he closed his eyes, that was when her eyes opened, and she woke up.
