Nothing was really the same after McGonagall was sent that letter. Draco was constantly sending letters back home, and every day he seemed to get one back, their owl was probably exhausted. McGonagall seemed like she was on edge, but their was no way that was possible, McGonagall was never nervous, it couldn't be that bad could it? Draco and (y/n) decided not to tell Maya about the letter, and they hoped that they would never have too, they hoped that they would change Lucius' mind before the month was up and she would never have to worry about it. They refused to tell her, and then the third week came. Lucius hadn't budged. If the American's wouldn't leave willingly, they would be forced out instead.
(y/n) hadn't told anyone really, she didn't tell Luca, or Ray, she didn't tell Luna, she didn't even tell Newt back home, she didn't want him to freak out and get all worried about her. She kept the whole thing to herself, and so did Draco, they were the only students that knew. All the professors knew though of course, this was Hogwarts after all, it's hard to keep secrets like that from everyone.
There was over a week left in the month that Lucius had given them to leave Hogwarts, everyone was gathered in the Great Hall for breakfast, just like every other morning, nothing seemed off or out of place, it seemed just like any other morning, but it wasn't.
Draco walked over to the Ravenclaw table in the great hall, everyone seemed to be staring at him as he waltzed over, but he walked with so much confidence that no one really knew why they were staring. Did he not belong at the table? Should he have been somewhere else?
"(y/n)," Draco called out at a normal volume, and when (y/n) turned around to look at him he leaned down and dropped his voice down to a whisper, "can I talk to you after breakfast? I already told McGonagall, you'll be excused from your lesson," he stated.
(Y/n) glanced around them briefly, taking in their surroundings like she was expecting an ambush, but when none came she took a deep breath and nodded to Draco, pursing her lips and glancing back at him.
Draco nodded back, "meet me in the room of requirement," he stated, "it's kind of important," he explained further, and then without another word Draco stood back up and turned around on his heel and walked back over to the Slytherin table, his expression back to the stone cold resting face that he had normally now, it was almost strange to see him when he seemed to be in a good mood.
That was when everyone remembered why they had been staring. What was the Slytherin King doing over at the Ravenclaw's table? Whispers and murmurs spread across the Great Hall like a wild fire, and soon, everyone was talking about the Slytherin King and the American scum. Were they back together? Did Draco really feel that desperate that he had to go back to her? Surely there were plenty of other girls at Hogwarts he could be with, plenty of pureblood girls.
The murmurs were silenced by McGonagall stepping up to the golden podium in the center of the stage an raising her hands in the air. Morning announcements were about to begin, and they were announcements everyone was going to want to hear.

"Why didn't you tell me your father was actually coming here?" (y/n) asked as she stormed into the room of requirement, her hands were balled up tightly into fists at her sides, Draco couldn't tell if she was angry.. or scared.
Draco shook his head apologetically, he had known about his fathers visit since the beginning of the month, but he was to nervous to tell (y/n), he didn't want to make her any more anxious than she already was.
Before Draco could get a word in (y/n) started up again, "is that what you wanted to talk to me about? you wanted to finally tell me that your father was coming, and he was bringing the minister of magic with him?" she questioned accusingly.
Draco shook his head again, "not quite," he admitted nervously.
(y/n) tilted her head to the side, confusion swirled in her eyes as she stared at him, she couldn't help but wonder, "did you even know that he was going to come like this?" she asked.
Draco nodded, "that's why I wanted to ask you something, something that may or may not completely change how my father's visit goes," he explained as simply as he could.
(y/n) raised an eyebrow at him in curiosity, her hands relaxed as she crossed her arms over her chest and waited for what he was going to say next.
Draco took a deep breath, closing his eyes as his shoulders relaxed, when he reopened his eyes he looked down into (y/n), they sparkled like they had turned to crystal, "are you still in love with me?"
