Spending Valentine's Day with Richie Tozier would include

Really late Valentine's Day thingy but yeah.

* you two had been friends for a few years but you had started dating a few months ago

* so this was the first Valentine's Day you would spend being together

*you two decided that you wanted to spend the day just the two of you, without the other losers, because you wanted it to be somehow special

*mostly because Richie wanted it to be special

*because he was in love with you

*and he knew he wasn't the most cheesiest boyfriend in Derry, but it kind of bothered him when some of the losers said he probably couldn't be romantic even if his life depended on it

*Valentine's Day seemed the perfect time to prove they were wrong

*needless to say that you were excited when the day came, even though it was a school day, taking what you had bought for Richie in your backpack

*you were walking eagerly to your locker when you saw that amid all the other couples hugging and exchanging gifts, Richie was struggling to get to you

*you laughed watching him trying to get through the crowd with a teddy bear and flowers in his hands

*Richie took a few seconds, but when he got to you he gave you the biggest hug, making you giggle as you hugged him back tightly

*"Happy Valentine's Day." he said, squeezing you in his arms.

*you commenting on how cliché he was for giving you a bear and flowers

*but you were very happy with that

*after all, that was the cutest bear you had ever seen

*your gifts to Richie were comic books and his favorite chocolates

*Richie's eyes brightened when he saw the gifts

*you knew he liked comic books, but you had no idea which ones he had read and which ones he hadn't

*so you were relieved when he said that he hadn't read the ones you had bought for him yet

*"I'm glad I bought it, then. When I was choosing your gift, I didn't know if I should buy you the comics or a dildo." you remarked casually as he talked about how long he'd been wanting to read one of the comics you'd bought him.
Richie stopped talking, staring at you in shock for a moment before a smirk spread across his face. "That's my girl."

*you two spent the rest of the school day together

*sitting as close as you could to talk/keep physical contact during class

*Richie finishing eating the chocolates before the end of the first period

*you cuddling with your new teddy bear during class

*lots of making out against the school lockers during recess

*What better way to show your love for someone than by kissing them?

*you going to have a snack after school

*not something that would be considered romantic to many but you both liked that

*What was more romantic than sharing a milk shake and eating unhealthy food?

*you soon noticed that Richie really wanted to make that day about what you wanted to do

*but you wanted it to be about him too

*so you insisted that you should go to the arcade together
