His pov

"Dude will you stop looking at my cousin like that?" Matt asked snapping his fingers in front of my eyes

I swatted his hand away and sighed "she's amazing"

"She's a good girl I'm not letting you ruin her" duchene exclaimed

I sighed and walked away from him and towards the cooler to grab a drink. Matt invited the whole team to his place for BBQ and all his relatives are here too because they wanted to meet us, I just can't stop staring at his cousin (y/n). the way her black hair falls on her shoulders and how her eyes crinkle when she laughs at something she heard, the way her black T-shirt is clinging to her body

I shook my head a little and walked back to Matt. makinnon looked at me and chuckled "go talk to her buddy! I got to know her earlier, turns out you're her favourite player next to Matt of course"

I blushed and looked her way "I can't talk to her I wouldn't know what to say"

I looked back at Matt when I heard his voice "listen Landy, you can date my cousin if she actually wants to date you and as long as you don't play her like a violin"

I smiled at Matt and nodded " trust me she's a keeper I can tell"

"Well then come on you savvy Swede go talk to (y/n)!" Nathan urged

I looked at her and this time she was staring back at me, she smiled and I waved "I guess this is it" I whispered before making my way towards (y/n)

"Hey I'm (y/n)" she introduced herself, she has a voice of an angel

I blinked a few times and she giggled at my foolishness "ya uhh sorry I'm Gabriel Landeskog, you can call me Landy or Gabe" I replied

"I know who you are! haha but it is nice to finally meet the amazing Landy"

"Is that what people are calling me now?" I asked

She shrugged "I'm not sure but you are amazing"

"You're amazing" I blurted out

(Y/n) blushed and looked away from me

I began to talk again before it could get awkward "you wanna go for a swim? I heard Matts pool in the back is huge"

"Ya sure" she smiled and I grabbed her hand and lead her to the backyard. no one was here thankfully. I pulled off my shirt and shoes, leaving my plaid shorts on, (y/n) threw off her clothes and I couldn't help but stare at her beautiful silhouette.

She noticed I was staring and quickly jumped into the pool, I jumped in as well and resurfaced.

"I thought you wanted to swim?" she asked me as she swam in a small circle

I nodded and began swimming. I saw her legs and decided to do something not so manly.

I gabbed her legs pulling her down. she began to kick her legs causing me To let go. I resurfaced with her and she glared at me

"I hate you!" she shrieked

I winked at her and blew her a kiss "I love you tooooooo"

She laughed and pushed my head under water. I grab her waist and pulled her down with me. her skin is as soft as silk.

We we're drying off in the sun, enjoying one another's company.

"You know I was thinking of taking my girlfriend to Sochi with me this winter" I spoke

(Y/n)'s facial expression changed from happy so sad. she looked up at me and smiled slightly "that's great! I'm sure you're girl will have a lot of fun."

I began to laugh "what I'm trying to say is I want you to be my Girlfriend!"

(Y/n) looked at me in shock and then smiled "really?"

I nodded and got up. I made my way to her seat and kneeled down next to her "I thought it was evident that I liked you?" i asked

"I thought you liked me too and then you brought up your girlfriend and nearly gave me a heart attack" she shrieked

I laughed and grabbed her hand "will you be my girlfriend?" I asked "I know we've only just met but I like you..a lot"

(y/n) blushed and nodded before placing a kiss on my cheek "I would love to be your girlfriend Gabe"

I smiled and picked her up "are you dried off?" I asked as I carried her in my arms

she nodded and I smirked "well that's a bummer because WERE GOING BACK INNNNN" I Shouted as I jumped into the pool causing my new girlfriend to scream in shock!
