"toreeeeeeeyyyyyyy" I shrieked as my best friend Soaked me with ice cold water

Torey began to laugh uncontrollably and I pouted "its not funny" I whined before stomping away towards the patio set in my backyard.

"Oh don't be mad (y/n)!" My BestFriend shouted

I ignored him and took a seat on one of the patio chairs. shortly after torey came and took a seat on the chair in front of me

"I was trying to make you Let loose love." torey sighed "you've been very stressed lately"

"Can you blame me?, school has taken up all my time" I groaned.

"I know (y/n) but look at the bright side once your done all this you get to go to university and become whatever you've dreamed of becoming " torey smiled

I smiled back and smirked "you really know how to cheer me up Tor"

He left his chair and jumped onto my lap causing me to laugh "what're are best friends for?"

"I'm sure their not around to break my legs" I chuckled trying to push him off.

-END OF FLASHBACK-

"What's got you down bud?" my brother asked me as he took a seat next to me on my bed

"What makes you think I'm down?" I asked looking down at my fingers

"Gee I don't know, you haven't had a real meal in two days, you keep looking at pictures of you and torey and you haven't been to the rink in a week" he recalled

"It's just that I've been busy that's all" I lied

"Or it's because you miss Torey" he replied bluntly

A few tears fell from my eyes "I haven't seen him in months! We text 24-7 but it's not the same I wanna see him. I miss him a lot and I don't know what to do other than mope around and cry" i exclaimed as more tears fell

"You don't have to cry no more Love, I'm back!"

My head shot up towards my room door and I jumped up immediately and ran towards Torey, wrapping my arms and legs around him

"I've missed you (y/n)" torey stroked my hair as his other arm tightened around my body.

"Welcome back Tor!" My brother smiled before walking out "I'll leave you two alone"

We took a seat on my bed and torey looked at me with a half-hearted smile

"How's the hockey life treating you?"

"It doesn't matter right now, this week is all about you and I love"

I blushed at torey "a week? why aren't you playing hockey?"

"Twisted my wrist in practice this morning so I'm out for about two weeks"

"That's great, well you being here is great you getting hurt isnt"

"As long as I'm with you I'm okay"

"You seem likes something's on your mind?" I commented

"I've been meaning to talk to you I've just never had a good time to do it"

I grabbed his hands and looked up at him "I'm your BestFriend you can tell me anything"

"That's exactly it!" He replied frustrated and got off of my bed

I got up as well "What is 'Exactly it'?" I asked confused

"The whole bestfriend thing" he replied

"What are you trying to get at torey?" I yelled "The NHL made you too good to be my friend? is that it?"

"No (y/n)! That's the complete opposite! the NHL made me realize how much I need you in my life" Torey sighed before starting to speak again "I've loved you for awhile (y/n). being away from you for so long made me realize how badly I wanted you. I want to wake up to you in my arms and sleep with you in my arms! I want to kiss you and -"

I cut him off with a full on kiss, he responded immediately and wrapped his toned arms around my waist while mine roamed his soft hair.

I pulled away and began to catch my breath but stopped when toreys lips reattached to my chapped ones.

Once we pulled away torey lifted my chin up so I can look him in the eyes

"I hope you kissing me means that you feel the same way?"

I bit my bottom lip before smirking "I love you"

Torey caught me off guard by throwing me over his shoulder using his good arm "good, come on let's go out for lunch I'm starving"

I chuckled before yelling out "Chinese Food here we come!"

"Will you guys keep it down, im trying to watch the game"my brother called out irritated

"Tell me who wins" torey yelled back

"Only if you promise not to hurt my little sister Krug!!"

"I promise!" torey replied before walking out the door with me

"Is this our first date?" i asked

"Do you want it to be?" torey joked as he pulled me into his side

"Let's not have a first date" I replied smiling from ear to ear

"I'm okay with that just as long as we never have a last one"

& that is exactly what happened, Not a first Or last For Torey and I because the really never was a beginning, our love was always there!
