Brandon's Pov

"You've been traded Mr.Bollig" my agents words rang in my ears.

My head's under water,But I'm breathing fine.

I'm no longer a Blackhawks player. I'm now part of the Calgary Flames.

I called my girlfriend (y/n) and told her the news.

I'm so dizzy, don't know what hit me, but I'll be alright

"I can't believe I wasn't good enough, I'm such an idiot, I actually thought they wanted Me on the team. I thought I brought something to the team, but I guess I was wrong" i exclaimed as tear welled up in my eyes

"Brandon! Don't you ever say you're not good enough! You're not good, you're unbelievably amazing. If they didn't see your potential, the Calgary Flames will!" (Y/n) yelled through the phone

What would I do without your smart mouth?

After talking to (y/n) for a good half hour she told me she was on her way

My phone blew up with calls and texts but I didn't acknowledge any of them. Not because I wasn't grateful for the people in my life but because I only wanted to see my girlfriend at the moment. I needed my support system right now & nothing else

Your pov

I walked into Brandon's apartment with a frown on my face. It didn't feel like the cozy apartment I spent most my days in. The atmosphere was almost stressful to be in.

I sighed as I removed my coat and hung it with my somewhat wet umbrella. It was raining like crazy in Chicago & honestly it was the highlight of my day, sad isn't it?

"You're here" I looked up to see a crying brandon walking towards me

How many times do I have to tell you
Even when you're crying you're beautiful too. The world is beating you down, I'm around through every mood

he engulfed me in what I'm assuming was a much needed hug. I hugged him back tightly and inhaled his intoxicating scent.

We walked into the living room and sat on the love seat. Our hands were entwined but none of us uttered a word.

"I guess we gotta say goodbye to this place" brandon laughed slightly trying to lighten up the mood

"Ya I guess" I replied "I'm gonna miss you so much" my words came out in a whisper and the tears I tried to hold in came flowing out of my eyes.

It was silent again, and I could feel Brandon's eyes on me.

"Come with me"

I looked at brandon in shock. "w-what?" I stuttered

You're crazy and I'm out of my mind

"Come with me" brandon repeated himself
"listen (y/n) I love you, I know we've only been dating for 8 months and we've had our ups and downs but I don't want a long distance relationship with you I want to see you everyday & every night. Truth be told (y/n), I was going to ask you to move in with me but now I'm asking you to move away with me." Brandon further explained

My eyes twinkled as they stared deeply into my boyfriends brown eyes. I wanted this, I really did.

"I love you too, & If you're all in then I'm all in" I smiled before cuddling into bolligs side

"CowTown, here we come!" I yelled as I threw my arm up, causing Brandon to break out into fits of laughter.

"Thank you for staying by my side through thick and thin" Brandon smiled down at me

I kissed his neck before reaching up and kissing his lips "I know you'd do the same for me Brandon"

We complete each other, we're there for each other & we represent each other
