Ensnare
/verb\
catch in or as in a trap.

The walls in this room speak silently,
blue drapes flying out of the window.
Ringing of chimes,
sounds of laughter,
echoing from the dust.
The decor was mismatched,
my belongings were at a lost,
this sweater isn't as warm,
as it used to be.
Why does
my blanket
make me colder?
The yellow sunlight,
glowed from outside,
staring blankly,
at the surrounding darkness.
My hand grasps,
at the sound of the swing-set,
but I just can't reach.
My door is locked.
