Insensible
/adjective\
without emotion; callous.
.✫*ﾟ･ﾟ｡.★.*｡･ﾟ✫･ﾟ｡.★.*｡･ﾟ✫*.
The air is biting at my blue skin,
it's tongue is sashaying around it,
swallowing my body into ice.
This steel bench is freezing,
I could feel my bare skin burning,
from blue to an ashy purple,
but I need it like that.
People always ask me,
why my eyes are so dark,
why my skin is so pallid,
why my voice is so raspy,
why I am always so sick.
Instead of a blade to a scarred arm,
I like the cold to catch me,
and to embrace me into itself,
to make me feel,
it's numbness in my body,
overpowering my own anguish.
But the downside is that one day,
It will not just catch my body,
but my heart as well.
