"Doc, masyadong matagal. Pwede bang a month lang? Please..." nagsusumamo kong sabi.
"I'm sorry Ms. Chua. You are lucky, if it's just 1 year. You can't easily undergo surgery without your skin fully healed plus your skin is too sensitive for surgery." Tuluyang bumuhos ang mga luha ko.
"No!" Napasabunot ako sa buhok ko. Gusto kong magwala!
"Hija, it's okay. Nandito kami, gagaling ka." Niyakap ko sila nang mahigpit.
"My face mom. I look like a monster!"
"It's okay, the most important is you're alive my princess." Naramdaman ko ang paghalik ni Dad sa noo ko. Hindi siya nandidiri. Lalo akong napaiyak.
"How about my career dad? I'm no longer beautiful."
"My princess, you should stop thinking about everything you will leave behind. Maybe your face is ruined, but you're still beautiful to us."
"Anak, tama ang daddy mo. Masira man ang mukha mo, maganda ka pa rin sa paningin namin. Pagsubok lang ito sa buhay mo. You will survive it, your physical appearance is purely nothing compared to your beauty inside."
