Chapter 8

Up there is camille's thing that I don't know what it's called the coat thing and there's a cape and she has a lighter shade of blue for her hair color. No pants just imagine a knee high skirt instead and a hat. Anyway onto the story.

POV Arian Jones
I woke up at 8:00am and went through the secret tunnel (Jack used to get to her room. It has access to Jack's room, Kaito's room, Arian's room, and the bathroom) I went through and the 3 of us ran into each other in the bathroom "Well this is weird." I said looking away because out of all the bathrooms we all went to the same bathroom, same time and looks like they both just got up too. "You two go first then I'll go. Sound good?" I said looking away they both nodded I went to the tunnel until they both finished washing their face to get theirselves to get up and changed to their phantom theif outfits. I did the same thing. We went to Jack's room and it was mostly silent until "Come on guys let's have some breakfast." I said not making eyecontact because I don't want anyone to see me sad so they won't worry. And so we left the room.

POV Hachi
It was almost time to wake up Mr.Joker I was about to leave the kitchen to go to his room but when I turned to the corridor I was suprised that Mr.Joker was already up and he was talking to 2 other phantom theives it seems. One was wearing all white and has a monacle. The other one has a mask that looks like Mr.Joker's, short brown hair, a skirt just a little above the knee and boots (there's also the thing aichi wore in legion mate but I don't know what to call it so yeah). They were just chatting then the girl said "I'll cook breakfast. What do you guys want?" she asked. Both Mr.Joker and the other phantom theif replied enthusiastically "Cheese omelet" they both looked at each other while the girl was giggling a little "Alright then" She continued going to the kitchen with the 2 still talking behind her until she ran into me "Um who are you two?" I asked confused. She looked at Mr.Joker "So Joker is he your apprentice?" she asked him "Yeah" he answered. He went closer to me and said "Ok Hachi theese are my friends *points to the girl* Kaitou Camille and *points to the guy* Kaitou Kid. Camille, Kid this is Hachi my apprentice." Mr.Joker introduced then as I realize I jumped "WAIT! YOU MEAN THE LEGENDARY PHANTOM THEIVES WHO YOU FACED OF WITH!?" I asked very shocked "Yup." Mr.Joker answered, then suddenly got a skeptical look on his face looking at Camille-san "Wait a sec, I just realized. Camille I never even mentioned to you that I have an apprentice now so how'd you-" He got caught off "I have my ways" Camille-san said. "Anyways I'll get cooking so you guys just take a break and besides you're still banned from the kitchen right" she said while putting on an apron and the 3 of us sat down on the couch "oh shut up" Kid-san mummbled. "I can help Camille-san" I said as I stood up but Mr.Joker stopped me by tapping my sholder "Nah let her do it she happens to be a really good cook." Mr.Joker said smiling. "If you say so." I said sitting back down

~Time skip~

POV Kaito Kid/ Kaito Kuroba
Arian-senpai finished making the omelet so we took our seats on the table and we counted down to take the first bite since it's Hachi's first time eating it. "Three. Two. One." we all said as we all take a bite. "Wow this is super tasty" Hachi said with his eyes sparkling "I told you she's an awesome cook" Joker said proudly "Yup her cooking is definitely five star" I said happily. "Um Hachi, do you know where the coffee maker is?" Arian-senpai asked "Oh yeah the coffee maker broke a few months ago." Jack said happily eating his omlet. "Then why didn't you tell me sooner. *sigh* That's it I'm going to the café later do you guys wanna come?" she asked looking to us. "Sure" me and Jack replied while eating.

POV Jack
After I kept on struggling to remind myself to call oneesan 'Camille', we finished eating. Hachi said he will stay here to clean. We soon left the sky joker and the image gum of our phantom theif outfits popped. We were all wearing normal casual clothes. Kaito was wearing red and green checkered shirt, black pants and a hoodie with the hood down. I was wearing blue jeans, a blue shirt and a red jacket. Onee-san was wearing a light blue and brown skirt (with shorts inside), a blue shirt, a sweater with a hood, blue square rim glasses, a baseball cap, gloves (she said she can't leave her finger prints and if there is a murder well at least she has other gloves), rubber shoes and her hair was let down neatly. We all left to go to a Café in town. We were chatting on the way as Kaito said that now, there's a cafe underneath the agency and the cakes there are so good that Onee-san actually eats the cake willingly. I was suprised to hear this since she only eats cake sometimes and preffers things like lemon pie. I am not even joking when I think that she and Shinichi-niisan are very simillar when it comes to food. "Guys, do you wanna stop by the house later?" Clara-oneesan asked and we answered "sure" "Say why don't we just go to Poirot?" Kaito asked. Ari-oneesan suddenly had an angered face and said " For crying out loud the whole reason we're staying at Jack's place is so they don't know I'm here. Because seriously I AM NOT PLANNING TO FACE HER KARATE ANYTIME SOON, GOT ME" she said getting a little annoyed at Kaito forgetting. "Oh yeah and her kicks are dangerous" He said most likely remembering the times she kicked him. "Anyways let's go to the cafe already" she said "Alright" we replied. A few minutes later we arrived.

POV Arian
We entered the store and were greeted by the staff at the counter "Good morning. What would you like to order?" "2 chocolate cakes, 2 hot chocolate drinks and 1 blak coffee with no sugar." I answered "How'd you know that was our order?" Jack and Kaito asked suprised and curious. "First of all Jack's my brother so of course I'd know. Second back when we were younger, Kaito was visiting our house very often and had snacks with us, so I know what you preffer and I am a detective so it is part of deducing." I answered bluntly hoping there won't be a muder. I paid and they gave me the change and reciept so we went to a table and sat down waiting for our order. "Guys, I decided I'm going to go to school" Jack announced happily. "Huh..." Me and Kaito were just suprised at this. " Did I say something wrong?" Jack asked "Why are you going to go to school? I mean you don't have to since you're already smart enough to easily pass the grade with no stress, minus making projects." I asked "Yeah I mean why are you gonna give up you're freedom of homework and sleeping in?" Kaito asked "I don't wanna hear that from the 'Prankster of Edoka High' Kai-kun" I said teasing him "Well I don't wanna hear that from someone that goes to school yet just sleeps in class" He fired back at me. We just glared at each other until Jack said "Well it's because both of you are busy until the end of school and I wanna see what it's like". "Here are your orders" the waitress said putting the cakes and drinks down "Well thank you miss" Kaito said making a rose appear and giving it to her. "No problem. But I must get back to work. Just get my attention if you need anything." She said bowing and taking her leave. I was drinking my coffee while Kaito and Jack were adding sugar to their hot chocolate. I am serious when I say that Kaito and Jack have similar opinions on food. They were about to take the first bite of their cake when suddenly "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" someone screamed "Corpse magnet" Kaito and Jack mumbled so I death glared at them since I am not in a good mood but luckily for me I finished my coffee so I took off my glasses and tied my hair in a high ponytail removing my cap I stood up and walked towards Inspector Megure I said "Hisashiburi Megure-keibu (long time no see Inspector Megure)" I said smiling. Inspector Megure turned and look suprised "Oh Arian. It has been a long time. Why are you here?" Megure-keibu asked "Well you see *points to our table with my thumb* me, my brother and our friend were eating and talking then we suddenly heard a scream" I said

POV Jack
While Arian-oneesan is solving the case me and Kaito are finishing our hot chocolate since unlike oneesan we are not yet finished and we will still eat our chocolate cake. "Say Jack have you noticed it yet?" Kaito said eating his chocolate cake with a serious look. "Huh? What do you mean Kaito?" I asked confused "About how many masks Arian-senpai has. And I can't even count how many she has. But today it looks like she has been wearing a mask to hide her saddness because though very few times her mask has a crack" looking down at his cake. "Well I can't completely understand what you're saying I can understand. Today is the day she normally locks herself in her room. And she has been through a lot." I said looking at my sister beacause I noticed how she had been fake smiling although not everyone can see it only those really close to her have seen her real smile and can tell her fake from real smile. For crying out loud not even the best detective we've met was able to tell. Only those close to her can tell. The rest of the meal was quiet.

POV Kaito
We finished our last bite of cake as we heard "Which means the culprit is......... *points to the fat guy* none other than you Yamamoto Reo-san" (fyi she explained the trick erlier and we weren't listening since we were eating). He collapsed on the floor and admitted the two of them did illegal transactions before and Inoue-san (the victim) was planning to expose only his (Yamamoto) actions and make sure he (the victim) was not mentioned at all to make himself look like a hero. He was handcuffed and arrested. "Great job Arian-chan *pats her at the back*" the inspector said "Thanks Megure-keibu. But please keep my involvment in this case a secret." Arian-senpai said quietly making the 'ssshhh' sign with her hands "Wakarimashita (I understand)" he said nodding then left. Arian-senpai approached us and said "Well guys let's get going" she said and then we heard the waitress "excuse me but please accept these as a token of our gratitude for solving the case. We didn't have to close the café for that long unlike other times there was a case here" She said handing over a bag to Arian-senpai "Thank you very much" Arian-senpai said receiving the bag. The waitress bowed and took her leave. We stood up and left the café. Heading to Arian-senpai's house "So what were you two talking about a while ago?" she asked us. "Me and Jack were just talking about which school he is going to 'study' at." I responded. Although I noticed Arian-senpai was sad again but I didn't point it out since it was understandable because out of us three I think she had the worst memories.
