Tagged by...gofishstories and Rosa950 and probably some other people. Yeah I put this one off haha.

Pros

Leaf Blade

100 accuracy. 90 power. High critical hit ratio. When it got it in Gen 4, was converted to physical attack. Can't get much better than that.

Defense Stats

It's got solid defense stats unlike most Grass Pokémon. It's an exception kinda like Tangrowth...with that darn low Speed stat.

I dislike a lot of Grass Pokémon

Look when I played Yellow, half of the grass Pokémon were Poison. And the other half were garbage and had a bad moveset.

Gen 2 didn't get much better. I always picked Cyndaquil so Meganium was out. Hoppip haha!

Gen 3? It's a mixed bag of good and bad. (I like Tropius & Sceptile)

Gen 4! Finally! Roserade is a decent Grass-Poison type, Tangrowth, and Leafeon. Finally.

The Design itself

According to Pokédex Entries, it it's like a plant and does photosynthesis. So it's technically an animal and plant at the same exact time. If that's not cool, I don't know what is.

Ahh snap a 5th one...err...it looks cool? Cute?

Sorry I'll just go with that for now.

Oh the ability! Leaf Guard! Fantastic ability especially in Sunny weather. Add in Synthesis and you're good to grow.

Cons

Leaf Blade

You have to wait in Gen 4 until Level...70! Not good when you wanna cap stuff at Level 50 for Battle Tower.

Speed

Or lack of it. If it was faster, it'd dominate. Then again, if other things were faster they'd dominate too.

Mono-Type

Nothing else to mix it up or get STAB from except grass.

It's hard to evolve

You have to...level up next to a Mossy Rock? So...I have to either get it in D/P/Pt or I can't have on in HG/SS? That's lame

Luckily they fixed that in later games by tossing the Mossy Rock in other places.
