It's been awhile

For all those who don't care for my existence, just keep doing that. I'm fine with it. I've come to accept and embrace it.

For all those who do care for my existence, have I got some news for you.

It seems after a Ted talk from another user, it's time for his triumphant return

https://my.w.tt/eIW4fxvzwW

I expect mountains of comments, jk

Anyway to the reason of the title, it's a song (when isnt it a song?) about having a home. Whether it's a physical or spiritual home, it's about having that place to be where it's better than where you are now.

And I'm trying to find that home. A place where I can go when the going gets tough and it's just...better

Anyway you can probably expect some updates and replies to comments! Emphasis on the probably bit.

I'd also like to thank all those who have continued to support me regardless of where I was in my life. It means a lot. Even those who came and gone. You still temporarily supported, and that's something that others couldn't even do for me.

I'd do shout outs, but I think the anonymity makes it better.

Anyway back to that song I mentioned earlier...

Nobody ever had a dream 'round here
But I don't really mind that it's starting to get to me
Nobody ever pulls the seams 'round here
But I don't really mind that it's starting to get to me

I've got this energy beneath my feet
Like something underground's gonna come up and carry me
I've got this sentimental heart that beats
But I don't really mind that it's starting to get to me

Now, why do you waste my time?
Is the answer to the question on your mind
And I'm sick of all my judges
So scared of what they'll find
But I know that I can make it
As long as somebody takes me home
Every now and then

Oh, have you ever seen the lights?
Have you ever seen the lights?

I took the shuttle on a shock wave ride
Where people on the pen pulled a trigger for accolades
I took a bullet, and I looked inside
And it's running through my veins
An American masquerade

I still remember grandma Ditzy's wake
I've never really known anybody to die before
Red, white and blue upon a birthday cake
And my brother-he was born on the fourth of the July, and that's all

So why do you waste my time?
Is the answer to the question on your mind
And I'm sick of all my judges
So scared of letting me shine
But I know that I can make it
As long as somebody takes me home

Woo!
(Every now and then)
(Every now and then)

You know I see London; I see Sam's Town
Pulls my hand, and let's my hair down
Rolls that world right off my shoulder
I see London; I see Sam's Town now

If you can understand the song, you'll understand more.

And lastly, expect an update of HDtM within the week. And expect another new short story soon as well.

This has been GT, signing off
