Heart Monitor

So this evening Scott forced me to come grocery shopping with him. Mom is making him do a lot of house work lately because his failing chemistry.

So I got out of bed and got into a pair of sweats and a Beacon Hills lacrosse hoodie I stole from Scott. I had no make up on except for concealer and I tied my hair in a high pony tail, it was all pin straight from the other day which made it so easier.

I'm carrying one bag of groceries on either side of me and Scott has all the others. We are walking around and we can't find the car, so I pull out the car keys and press the button that unlocks the car. I hear the car above us and I groan.

"Why? just why?" I groan

"Oh come one flight of stairs isn't going to kill you" Scott says laughing

"That's true but it might get you killed" I threaten him

"Just grab this bag while I get out the keys" He says and hands me the packet

But as soon as he let's go of the packet, he milk falls out of the bag then rolls under a car and I hear Scott yell.

"No no no no!"

As Scott's trying to succeed and get the milk, someone pulls me back and behind a wall. I open my eyes and see Derek, he puts his finger to his lips then runs.

I think he is going to scare Scott or something. I don't know?

I hear car alarms go off and Derek say

"You're dead!"

Okay? I walk over to where they are and say

"What is going on?"

"Yeah what the hell was that?" Scott yells out of breath

"Said I was gonna teach you. I didn't say when" Derek says

"You scared the crap out of me!" Scott says

"Me too, when he grabbed me back there" I say

Derek looks at me then back at Scott and says

"Not yet"

"Okay but I was fast right?"

"Not fast enough" Derek says

"But the car alarm thing that was smart right?"

"Till your phone rang" Derek says walking away and Scott following behind him and I tag along too

"Yeah but that was, i mean, would you just stop?! Please!" Scott says

Derek stops and turns to look at Scott.

"What happened the other night, Stiles' dad getting hurt. That was my fault. I should've been there to do something about it" Scott says and I put an arm on his shoulder

Because last night Mr Stilinski got hit by a car but it wasn't bad or anything. The reason being is because he was going after a mountain lion that had run loose in the school and after that Mr Argent shot it.

"Derek, you really need to teach him how to control it" I say and Scott nods his head along

"I am what I am because of birth. Scott was bitten and teaching someone who was bitten takes time!" He is kind of yelling "I don't even know if I can teach you"

"Okay then what about me?" I ask

"Again, remember what I told you!" He said to me and I roll my eyes

"Okay then what do I have to do?" Scott says

"You have to get rid of distractions" Derek tell him and he grabs Scott's phone "you see this. This is why I caught you" I looked at the phone and see one missed call From Allison
