I'm at the loft with Stiles and Cora. We're disscussing the whole Derek thing and speaking of Derek he has decided he needs some space after the whole Boyd thing because he thought that it was all his fault. So he decided to just leave for awhile.

"They were there for two days. Waiting, hiding that's what we're told to do when the hunters find us" Cora says "hide and heal"

"Okay so is two days standard then or are we thinking of some extended getaway?" Stiles says

"Why do you care?" Cora asks Stiles

"Why do I care? Cause in the last few weeks my best friend has tried to kill himself, his boss nearly got ritually sacrificed, a girl that I knew since I was three was ritually sacrificed, Boyd was killed by alphas. You want me too keep going cause I can? Alright for like an hour"

"You think Derek can do anything about that?" Cora says and walks closer to us

"Since he's the one that everyone seems too be after maybe he should do something about" Stiles says

"I don't know?" Cora says "there's something different about him. He wasn't this way when I knew him"

"What was he like?"

we hear footsteps coming down from the staircase.

"A lot like Scott actually" Peter says "a lot like most teenagers. Barely romantic, profoundly narcissistic, tolerable really to only other teenagers"

"So what happened?" I ask "what changed him?"

"The same thing that changes a lot of young men... A girl" Peter says

"You're telling me some girl broke his little heart. That's why Derek is the way he is?" Stiles says

"Do you remember Derek before he was an alpha, had blue eyes?" Peter says "do you know why some wolfs have blue eyes?"

"I always thought it was like a genetic thing" Stiles says

"If you wanna know what changed Derek you need to know what changed the color of his eyes" Peter says

"Well what about me?" I say "I have blue eyes"

"Well you have blue eyes because you and Derek share a bond that not even you and him will understand" Peter says "But when a werewolf meets it's mate they become obsessed with each other. Always wanting to be near each other, even if you don't want to be, you'll always find yourself near them and eventually you start to share everything"

"Like what?" Stiles asks and I fold my arms

"Eye colour, when one gets hurt the other one can feel their pain and sometimes if the pain or bond is strong enough you'll get the wound aswell" Peter says

"So what happens is one of them dies?" I ask

"We'll have to wait to see if one of you dies to find out!" Peter says and I step forward wanting to attack him but Stiles pulls me back

"So if Derek was a sophomore back them how old was he? How old were you? How old are you now?" Stiles says

"Not as old as we could've been but not as old as you think"

"That was frustratingly vague" Stiles says "how old are you?"

"I'm 17" Cora says

"See that's an answer that how we answer people" Stiles says

"Well 17 how you measure in years" Cora adds

"Alright I'm just going to drop it. What happened to Derek and the chello girl?" Stiles says
