The Divine Move

We sit in silence as we re-think about Allison and her death. I can't believe she's dead. Allison's dead.

"Can you remember anything else?" I hear the voice of Deputy Parrish ask "anything else? Isaac?"

"I'm sorry it just happened so fast" Isaac manages to get out

I look over at Lydia who has tears coming out of her eyes and I hold her tight as I also start to cry.

After the police station I needed to be with someone so I went to Derek. I watch as Derek burns a wound on Ethan's back with a lighter.

"It should be fine in a couple of hours unless whoever shot you manages to find you again" Derek says and puts the lighter on the table

"Lydia's with Scott we need to go" Aiden says and walks towards the door

"You're going to try and convince her to go with you?" Derek asks

"I'm going to try and convince her to run and hide like any sane person would do" Aiden says

"And Danny?"

"Allison's dead, Stiles is dying. What do you think?" Ethan asks Derek

"I think Danny won't believe you and Lydia would never run and hide"

"Because of Stiles?"

"Because of Scott!" Derek says "you've been trying to find a way into his pack, trying to earn his trust, trying to fight for him but you've had it wrong the whole time. You don't fight for a leader you fight for a leaders cause"

"What cause?"

"Scott's always been about one thing saving his friends. He'll do everything and anything to save the people he cares about. When there's no chance of winning he keeps fighting, when all hope is lost he finds another way. When's he's beaten down he stands up again!" Derek yells "You want to find a way into his pack, you want redemption learn to stand and fight!" Derek states

I'm sitting on the edge of Derek's bed with my head in my hands as I realise one of my best friend is dead and my other one is dying.

"You okay?" I hear Derek ask and I run my hands back over my hair while shaking my head as the tears fall down my cheeks

"No I'm not okay" I tell him and he sits down next to then grabs my hand in his "Allison's dead, Stiles is dying, I'm hearing things I shouldn't be able to hear and I'm seeing things that shouldn't be seen"

Derek wraps his arms around me and I put my head on his chest

"The worst part about it was I knew she was going to die. I saw the image of her being stabbed and I did nothing about it. I could of told her to move out the way or something but no, I just waited for Lydia to scream" I tell him and more tears fall "It's all my fault"

"It's not your fault" Derek tells me

"But I could of told her to move out the way and I mean I know you didn't like her but she cared a lot about everyone, she just didn't show it cause she was a fighter" I say

"She was and now you need to be one too" Derek says and I look up at him

"What do you mean?" I ask as he starts wiping the tears away

"Tonight you're going to fight for Allison. Let her know that they can't just kill one of us and get away with it. They're going to pay even if I didn't like her she was still a person who had people that cared about her" Derek says and I smile because that was really sweet and touching
