Chapter 6

I kissed him on his cheek seductively, while he was embracing the part of my waist and hips. We just dance romanticly while embracing each other..

"Kenneth, why aren't you confessing that you like me already?" I asked.

"I'm scared that you might reject me" he said.

I look at him again and smiled.

"I don't think I can do that.. right now, you're mine and I'm yours"

I said as I aim for his lips.

We kissed each other, not bothering if there are people seeing us.

But, I got shock when someone suddenly pulled me away from Kenneth, then a guy punch Kenneth.

"Is this the reason why you're asking me to give up Syrene?!"

That voice.. Hyson is here.

"Kenneth"

I said as I went to Kenneth and help him to stand up.

"You damn traitor!"

shouted Hyson as he was about to punch Kenneth again.

"Stop it, Hyson!!" I yelled.

Hyson look at me, then Abelia came to him.

"You like what Kenneth's doing on you?!"

"Yes! I like him touching my face, my lips, my body!" I said.

Everyone on the club started to watch us, then Abelia went between me and Hyson.

"Don't you dare shout at my boyfriend's face, you bitch!" she told me.

"Oh! Sorry, but your boyfriend is messing with me.. and actually to tell you something, he's not your boyfriend" I replied.

"Yes he is!"

"Hell no, he's not! If he's your boyfriend, then why is he chasing me?" I asked her.

"Abelia, stop it" Hyson told her.

I hold Kenneth and we walk away, but Abelia suddenly attack me from my behind. I have no choice but to fight back, we roll down on the floor and she kept on scratching me while I'm holding her hair.

I'm just hearing voices shouting, and some are laughing.

"Syrene!"

Kenneth calls me as he pull me away from Abelia, then guards came.

After the fight had been settled down, Kenneth send me home. We both walk going to my house.

"You shouldn't fight her back" Kenneth told me.

I just smirk at him.

"Everyone will think that I'm weak.. I don't want that to happen"

"You're strong enough for me, you don't need to have a fight outside or do something that will cause you to great danger" he said.

We arrive at the gate of the house, then we both enter my house.

"Sit down" I said as I went to the kitchen to get some cold water.

As I came back, I saw him sitting on the sofa comfortably but easing the pain of his punch mark.

"Do you need some ice for that punch mark?" I asked him.

"Oh uh.. sure" I took some ice pack and give it to him.

"Does it hurt? Hyson is really mad at you earlier" I teased him.

"Heh! I think he would be, after what I did with you" he replied.

I sit beside him, then he look at me.

"You didn't do anything wrong, mostly on me" I told him.

He just smiled, then he suddenly asked...

"You have a scratch on the left chin.. near your neck, does it hurt?"

I touch the scratch and it aches a bit.

"Yeah, it hurts.." I said.

Then, I took the medicine for wounds.

"Let me do it for you" he said.

He took the medicine, then I showed him my scratch and he slowly put some medicine on it.

"Ah.."

"Oh sorry.." he said.

While he was curing my wound, I saw him worrying at me.

"There.. you go"

"Thank you, Kenneth" I told him.

Silence came between us, then I remembered him saying that he likes me for so long.

"You really like me, don't you?"

He kept being silent.

"Kenneth, I'm sorry but I'm not yet ready for love again" I added.

He look at me.

"I'll wait again"

"You've been doing that for so long" I told him.

He touches my face again.

"I know, if that's the only way.. I'll do it again all the time" he said.

I pity him, he's just a man having a one-sided love. I stand up and hug him tightly, then I felt him hugging my waist.
