Chapter 14

I got shock when another guy suddenly punch him.

"Officer, get him"

the other guy said to the guards.

The guards took the guy who hurted me, then this guy who helped me crouch on my front and look at me.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

I look at him while my tears are flowing down continuously.

"Don't worry, I won't hurt you"

he added.

He offer his hands infront of me, and I look at it.

"Thank you" I said as I hold his hand.

He lift me up and guide me going to his car.

"I'll take you home.. is it okay?"

he asked.

"Okay.."

We both ride on his car.

While driving, he started to chat me.

"I'm Elexis..You are?"

"I'm Abelia" I replied.

He just smiled and continue on driving.

"Thank you for helping me earlier,

I was a scaredy cat because I was drunk and I don't know what is happening" I said.

"It's okay, all I can say is that.. You shouldn't be spending your night outside because it's dangerous and you're a woman also" he replied.

"There's so many guys out there who can save me, but why did it became you?" I asked.

"You could ask destiny" he replied jokingly.

I look at him carefully and he's handsome.

"Uhm, do you know where I live?"

I asked him.

"Actually no, but you can tell me where" he replied.

I just continued to be quiet.

We arrive at the front of my house, then we both went down of his car.

"Thank you for today, Elexis" I said.

"It's nothing, just be safe" he replied.

We smiled and stare at each other.

Then he walk towards me, I'm not sure if he'll kiss me or something so I just look at him carefully.

He smile at me, then he asked..

"Do you want to close your eyes?"

"Why would I do that?" I asked him.

"Quit asking.." he said sweetly.

I did close my eyes, then my lips felt his warm lips and I don't realize that we're already kissing each other. My arms automatically wrap around his waist as I'm turning my head up and kisses him.

Is this the real feeling of love?

If I compare it to the forced kisses of Hyson before, this was the warmest.

After few seconds of our kissing moments, we both stopped and I open my eyes.

He did the same, and smile at me.

"Why did you kissed me?"

I asked him.

"Do you hate it?"

"No.. uhm, not really" I said.

He let go of me and he went to his car, but I follow him.

"Elexis!" I called.

"Why?"

"Are we still going to see each other?" I asked.

"Yeah.. Maybe on the club or on some other places, but I told you to avoid going to clubs" he said.

I nods, then he gesture at me telling me to come towards him.

I went to him, then he holds my hands.

"Treat me as your friend, okay?"

he asked.

I paused for a moment on a curious thinking. He kissed me but we're just friends? Is this a joke?

"Uh okay.." I just said.

He smiled then rode his car and move on.

I don't know if I'll trust him, or forget him.
