Chapter 26

I arrived at my house, and I saw Kenneth seating on the sofa. He also look at me, and stand up.

"What happened?" he asked, after seeing my face.

"He show up to me again" I said.

"Who?"

He walk towards me and softly pinch my both cheeks.

"Hyson was at the art coliseum earlier"

I told him.

"What did you do?" he asked.

"I made him shameful infront of the others so that he'll stop on bothering me"

"Do you want me to talk to him and let go of you already?" Kenneth asked.

I hugged him very tight, he did the same to me.

"Don't worry, I'll keep you safe"

he added.

I'm scared, not the feeling of being scared that he'll hurt me again but I'm scared that I might hurt Kenneth because I still love Hyson.

I cried silently while Kenneth's embracing me tightly.

After that day, I was preparing myself for Vin's birthday tonight at his favorite club. I was infront of my mirror and having a make-up. I continued to put some flesh-pink lipstick onto my lips.

Then, I heard Kenneth just entered my room. So I look at him, he was looking great.

"Nice one, Kenneth" I praised him.

He smiled at me.

"Actually I'm not that good on comparing clothes" he said.

I walk towards him and kissed him.

"You look great tonight" I told him.

"Thank you" he said.

"So, how about me?" I suddenly asked him.

He look at me from head-to-toe.

"You look hot" he teased.

We both laugh, then he escorted me going down.

At the club...

We both arrive there and Vin saw us.

"I'm glad you made it!" Vin said happily.

He approaches us and did a brotherly hug with Kenneth, then he manly kissed my hand as a sign of gentlemanliness.

"Good evening, Syrene" he greeted.

"Good evening also to you, Vin.. and Happy Birthday" I replied.

"Thank you, oh... please follow me, I've reserved a special table for us" he said as he walk away.

I look at Kenneth and he smiled at me, then I followed Vin.

We started to have a happy conversation..

"...I remember him saying that to me.."

Vin said while laughing.

"Vin, don't say it..." Kenneth said.

"Sure.."

"Uh! Where the heck is Elexis?" Vin added.

"He promised to me that he'll be coming" added Kenneth.

"Maybe he's in a traffic" I told them.

"Oh, he said that he'll be coming alone" Kenneth said.

"Its because you're the only one who's having a lovelife.." Vin teased him.

They both laugh, then I just smiled at them.

My phone suddenly rings and I saw that its Abelia who's calling.

"I have to get this, please excuse me"

I told them.

I went out of the club and answered my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey.. uhm, where are you?" she asked on a very sad voice.

"I'm at a club.. What happened to you?

Are you sick?" I worriedly asked her.

"I'm fine... I'll go there, where's that club?" she asked.

"Uhm.." I said as I look behind me.

"The club where we both fought before?"

I added.

"Okay, I'll be there.." she replied.

We both hang up, then I saw Elexis walking.

"Hey, Elexis..." I called him.

He look at me curiously.

"Its me, Syrene.." I told him.

He stare at me, very curious.

"Syrene?"

"Yeah.. You don't know me?" I asked him.

"Your make-up change you a bit, you look hot" he said.

I just laugh at him, then we both enter the club.

"Elexis is here" I told them.

Vin stood up and did a high-five with Elexis.

"Bro, you're late.. Kenneth, what's the punishment?" teased Vin.

"2 shots!" Kenneth shouted happily.

"2 shots!" Vin added.

The crowd shouted along..

"Stop it guys" Elexis said seriously.

"Come on, Elexis" I said.

He smiled at me, then I tap him.

"I'm not really drinking" he told them.

"Come on! Just for this time.. one, or no.. 2 shots" said Kenneth as he give Elexis the first one.

Elexis uneasily took the small shot glass.

"First shot! First shot!" cheered Vin and Kenneth.

I kept on watching their friendly bonding.
