I went out of the office exactly 7:50 a.m. and walk going the the 4th floor meeting room. As I enter the meeting room, majority of the shareholders are women and there are just 2 men. It's awkward because I have to entertain the women so that we can have their trusts.
"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen"
I greeted as I started our meeting.
The meeting took 3 hours, and we ended up at exactly 11:00 a.m.
"Thank you for your time.."
I told them.
"Mr. Elexis, do you mind joining us on our lunch?" a woman asked me.
I look at all of them, and said..
"Yes, of course.."
"Good to know.." replied the others.
We all left the meeting room and had our professional-styled lunch on an elite restaurant.
"So Mr. Elexis, what made you give us such a suggestion?"
the man with a pair of eyeglasses asked.
"Oh, I'm just happy today" I said.
"Happy? Maybe your girlfriend is making you happy for almost a day" added the woman with a pink scarf.
"It's good to be always inspired, Mr. Elexis" said the other one.
I just smiled at them, and continued on eating. After that lunch, I went back to my office and took my rest for about 2 hours. I lay down on my sofa and comfortably sleep.
After 2 hours.. I woke up surprisingly when Dad entered madly.
"Elexis! What the hell do you think you're doing?!" he shouted.
I hurriedly woke up and stand infront of him.
"How can you sleep on your couch like that?!" he added.
"I became tired after the meeting earlier" I replied.
"Really? Do you think that you won their shares?"
"What do you mean? They said 'yes'!"
I replied.
He suddenly slap the contract papers on my face.
"That's what you think, idiot!"
he said as he left the office.
I pick up the contract papers and saw the stamp note 'not approved'.
I need to figure out who could be the competitor who took the position of my company.
I hurriedly open my computer and research the current contract signing that happened for about some hours ago. And beyond my research, I found out the company named 'Clarke Abel Inc.'.
I need to talk to the owner of this company.
