Fake. There are so many things that could be considered as fake in this world. There have been several instances wherein a person had to feign something. But there is a fine line between it being tolerable and being plain ass irritating. Like, faking a smile is okay. Pretending you're okay is okay. But acting all innocent and kind in front of the camera yet behind closed doors, you're as devious as Cruella De Vil? Nope. Definitely not okay.

Now some girls may think that working for a worldwide famous celebrity is actually amazing but not when your boss has that attitude. He smiled kindly at his fans, act all caring yet every time it is just the two of you, he becomes a huge diva. Is that really how you treat your personal assistant? At least that's what the other members of his management say.

"You're needed in his office." His secretary said, handing me his schedule for the month.

"He's in a bad mood, isn't he?" I muttered, adjusting the papers so that I wouldn't lose my hold on the paper cup.

"Since when was he not? Better get in there."

I internally sighed and walked over to the all too familiar set of frosted glass walls. I pushed the door open with my shoulder and headed in. I made my way to his desk, placing the cup of coffee next to his computer as he buried his head in his hands, something he does when he's stressed.

"Good morning, Mr. Mendes." I greeted, fixing the fallen items from his desk.

"Good, you're here." He groaned, looking up from him hands.

He looked restless. He had bags under his eyes, brown hair sticking out in different directions, and not to mention the fact that his eyes are drooping slightly. The first three buttons of his shirt was undone and the sleeves were messily folded up to his elbow. Not gonna lie, he looks hot but he can get a bit frightening when he's not in a good mood.

"What's wrong this time?" I asked, picking up a fallen picture frame from the floor and placing it neatly on his desk.

"Why are the people in this world so stupid?! There's a complete difference between an arena show to a mall show! Mall shows don't earn as much!" He growled, throwing his hands up in the air frustratedly.

"Maybe I should make sure that no one goes near you when you haven't had your coffee. Drink up."

"This is why I really need to have you around me at all times."

He slowly brought the paper cup to his lips and took a sip from the dark brown liquid I picked up from Starbucks on the way to the office. As typical as buying coffee from Starbucks sounds, it was the nearest coffee shop I could find on my route here. I sat myself down on the gray couch by the door and encoded his schedule into my tablet.

"I should really have someone change your salary and your schedule. Will pay you double to have you by my side at all times." He said, setting the paper cup down on his desk and walking over to me slowly.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Mendes but, as hard as it is to imagine, I actually have a life outside of work as well."

He sat down beside me and wrapped his arm around my shoulders. He leaned down and placed his mouth next to my ear, his soft pink lips brushing against it. I tried so hard to seem calm and ignore the feeling it gave me even though my heart felt like it was beating out of my chest. "What if I do not give you the option to refuse?"

As I opened my mouth to reply, his secretary knocked on the door and came in. He moved away from me as fast as he could and just stared at the wall across from us as I continued fixing his schedule.

"Sir, you have a meeting today at five. Just thought you should know as it was not written down in your schedule considering that it was stated last minute." She stated blankly.
