You sighed as you watched Zoe talk to Mike. It was obvious she liked him. You just couldn't tell if he liked her back. He was a good friend of yours from school. You always supported his decisions, but knew when to call him out on idiotic things. But there was one thing you never supported. Everytime he had a crush, you would say he's on his own and walk away.

Lately he and Zoey had been talking. You we're hanging out with Cameron when you saw the two get closer. You sighed sadly and looked away. What was the point. You had boring (H/C) (H/L) hair and a bit dull (E/C) eyes. Your personality in your opinion was nice, but it could never outshine Zoey. She was perfect in every way.

Cameron noticed your distant eyes and tilted his head. "Are you okay (Y/N)?" He asked, causing you to perk up. "Oh... I'm fine." You mumbled quietly. "But you have the body language of someone who's upset." He said with a frown. You sighed and looked away. "Just... have a crush on a probably taken guy." She said and sighed.

"Can I ask who that is?" He asked and tilted his head. You blushed slightly and looked down. "It... It's Mike." You said. You didn't notice until Cameron wiped your cheeks, that you were crying. You wiped your eyes quickly and looked away. "L-Let's just get over with this stupid challenge." You said and dragged your feet as you walked.

Cameron frowned and rubbed his chin. "I think I can do something..."

Cameron had an idea as he walked up to Scott, trying to overcome his shyness. "H-Hey Scott." Cameron said with a nervous smile. "What do you want pipsqueak." He demanded and growled. "I was just gonna tell you how I heard (Y/N) was taking interest in you!" He squeaked out.

The farm boy perked up at that. "(Y/N)?" He asked, a small smirk appearing on his lips. "Yeah. I guess if you won't do anything, she'll just get over you." He said and started to walk off. Scott growled and ran off to find the female.

"Perfect. Now to find Mike."

It was near dark and you had wandered around behind the cabins. You were deciding if you should head back to your bed when you were pinned against the wall. You squeaked and looked up to see the farm boy. "So I heard little miss quiet was into me." He said, causing you to tilt your head. "Me?" You mumbled confused.

You heard footsteps nearing as Scott leaned forward, causing you to panic. "I-I don't wanna..." You stammered out and shook slightly. As his lips were about to touch yours, a growl was heard and he was flung off of you. You squeaked softly as you were pulled into a tight embrace.

"Stay away from my sheila!" Manatoba yelled out, causing you to blush horribly. H-His? You thought as Scott glared. He didn't bother arguing as he started walking away. You could hear a few curses coming from him though. Manatoba gasped and shook his head, revealing the cute Mike. "Are you okay?" He asked, making you look away and blush more.

"W... Why did you intervene?" You asked. "I-I thought you were gonna be with Zoey." She said, saying Zoey's name with slight venom in your voice. He was surprised about this. "Cameron told me you were in trouble, so I ran over as fast as I could." He said, a small blush on his cheeks.

There was silence.

"... Do you like me Mike?" You asked suddenly.He blushed more and looked away. "I see how you are with Zoey. If you like her you should just go for her." You said, tearing up at the thought. You gasped when he gripped your chin and kissed you gently. Your (e/c) eyes widened at the touch, but slowly closed and kissed back.

"I'm sorry for neglecting this for so long." He said and held you closer. "I-I really do like you." He stuttered out. You gave a rare smile and nuzzled into him. "I like you too Mike."
