Chef x Military Reader

You and Chef had known each other since high school. Which led to why you joined the military. He said he was going, which made you upset. So in order to stay together, you joined the military. He was always a sweetheart to you, unlike his other side when he's literally an asshole to everyone.

He had convinced Chris to let you on the show with him. Making you happy. You got to torture some teens and get paid for it! You walked into the mess hall, meeting everyone on Total Drama Island. They didn't pay you no mind, until you blew a very loud whistle. "Listen up. Chef and I will be taking over the challenge today." You said, earning a groan from them.

"Meet us at the docks in two minutes." You said and walked out. "She ain't even scary guys." You heard Duncan tell his team, earning a butter knife to skim by his face and get stuck in the wall behind him. "You will respect me." You spoke and walked off, pulling your hair out of a tight bun while you did. (If you don't have long hair, ignore that part.)

Today had been great for you and Chef. The two of you made your own bootcamp for the children, having some quit in the process. Chris was impressed by the two of you and let you have a five star meal. You made it to the tent where you only saw Chef.

"Where's Chris?" You asked confused. "He said he ate already and left." Chef said, his eyes looking at anything, but you. You frowned in confusion and shrugged. You grabbed your favorite meal and sat down across from him.

It was quiet, but not your usual nice quietness you two sometimes have. It was very awkward, making you clear your throat. "Something wrong?" You asked, making him sit up straight. "Well, I... You see... er...." He tried to form a sentence, but just spouted nonsense.

You tilted your head. Chef never got like this, unless. "Are you shy? A big tough guy like you is shy?" She asked, making him growl. "I ain't shy!" He said, making you grin. "Then talk right, Chief." You teased, making him growl more.

"I like you! Go out with me!" He said, instantly catching himself. He blushed and glared at the ground. "I was never good with words. But having you around feels right. I just hope me and you could be more than best friends." He said, making you blush.

You then quietly laughed at him, making him glare at you. "I'm sorry. It was strange seeing you all shy. You were so forward and confident, even as kids." You said, your (E/C) eyes looking at him lovingly. He blushed badly and looked away grumbling. "Is it a yes or no?" He grumbled out.

"Of course you big teddy bear."
