Chapter 10

"Banu?" A male voice came.

"What?.... You're early." Banu said.

"Guru.... Your dad is here. Come down. " she said.

Both Guru and Anjali came down.

"What is she doing here?" He asked.

"Dad, we are married." Guru said.

"What how dare you." He.said.

"I...am..." Guru started.

"She is carrying his baby." Banu said.

"Yes... Thats why i told him to stay away from her. Her dad must feel hurt that his daughter's life is messed up." He said.

"Sorry they like each other. I cant do anything about it." Banu said

Suddenly gouthom had slapped banu right across the cheeks.

"Amma." Anjali ran to her.

"Either sent this girl back or i will accept her as the house maid." He said.

"Dad please. She is my wife." Guru said.

"Anajali, you go upstairs. You know, dad can't do anything. He needs me to have his business and i need you in life so..." Guru said pulling anjali upstairs.

"I am kinda scared of your dad."anjali said.

"Don't be. Dad isnt scary. He hates your dad but when he get to see his grandson, he will shower all the love on him." He said.

"What if its a girl?" She asked

"Hello, i want a boy. A strong kutty(small) baahubali." He said.

"Ok fine. What do you want to name my son?" She asked.

"Baahubali? What else?" He asked.

"No think of a name. Not a movie name." She said.

"That is a name in the movie." He said.

"Ok, lets search up a name for my darling baby." He said getting his phone out.

"Go ahead... Do it.... Good night." She said sleeping on the bed.

"Have i earned the ability to sleep on the bed?" He asked.

"No you dont. You didn't buy me two icecreams. Baby says daddy can't sleep near baby." She said.

"Really? Let me see." he said putting his head on her stomach.

"Ok baby... Mommy is a bad girl right." He said.

"What did your son say?" She asked.

"He said, his mommy is a bad girl. She eats the ice cream only for herself and doesnt know how to treat daddy. He said mommy doesnt even give him yummy and health food." He said.

"Ok baby, mommy will eat good healthy food for you." She said rubbing her tummy.

"Also he said daddy has to sleep with him." He said.

"But mommy doesn't" she said.

"Ok fine who cares." She said as he layed down next to her.

What had happened go the girl that many people called sassy. She was sassy when he met her. She melted in front of him. She cant live without him and neither can he. They are meant to be together.

"Um...... Baby....wake up." Anjali tried to wake up Guru.

"5 mins di." She said.

Suddenly he felt a hot burning sensation.

"Owww." He got up.

"Got ya." She said.

"Is this how you wake up your husband?" He asked.

"No no.... This is how i wake up idiots who oversleep." She said.

"Oh... Its 11:00." He.said.

"And???" She asked.

"Ohhhh.... Sorry sorry." He said running to the restroom.

"Amma??" He called when he came back.

"What?" Banu asked.

"Where is Anjali?" he asked.

"She went to the temple da." She said.

"Ok ma.. She is gonna get mad... Bye...." He said going to the temple.

"Hello?" He said when he saw her she compltely ignored him and and walked away.

"My darling right? My sweetheart. So so sorry. Please... I didnt mean to." He said.

"Maam, is there any problem?" A young guy asked anjali.

"Anju.... I am so sorry... Please.... You know me right... If i sleep i dont wake up." He said.

"Maam, would you like me to call the police?" The other guy asked.

"Who are you?" Guru asked the guy.

"Who are you? Why are you messing with this girl?" He asked.

"What is your problem if i am talking to my wife?" Guru asked.

"Is he your husband maam?" He asked.

"Ya." She said walking past them.

"Anjali...." Guru came after her.

"Ok go on.... When you come back, i wont talk to you." He said as she turned to him.

"Poda." (Go away boy) She said

He waited for her in his bike and told the driver to leave. She came toward him.

"When did you start going to the temples?" He asked.

"Why cant i go?" She asked.

"No.... Its not that its just that..." He started.

"Go." She said after getting on the bike.

"So you arent mad?" He asked.

"Baby told me to give daddy a chance." She said.
He stopped the bike. He looked at her stomach.

"Thank you baby." He said as he lean to kiss her belly.

"Hey..., this is the middle of the road." She said.

"Baby lets continue when we get home." He said as she slapped him on the shoulders.

As soon as Guru and anjali got home, goutham was sitting on the sofa staring.

"Guru... We need to talk come to
My room." He said.

"Anjali, you go upstair...ill catch you in a bit." He said as she went upstairs.

Anjali sat on the bed texting for a while and fell asleep.
