Best Friends Forever ~CH. 2~

Maddie's POV.

When I walked in to school, I saw kids playing, talking, smiling, and having the time of there life.

I saw a little boy smiling at me, then get up and walk over to me.

"Hi, my name is Matt" he said.

"Hi, I'm Maddie"

"That's funny, our names sound a lot alike" he said.

"Yea they do" I smiled.

"Come over here Matt, don't stay by that weirdo" a boy said.

I felt tears start to come out.

I knew this would happen, I wish mommy was here so she could tell me what to do.

I forgot Matt was standing there.

"Hey, don't cry" he said.

"Ju- just go by you're friends" I choked out.

"No, I'd rather have you as a friend" he smiled.

"W-why" I asked.

"Because you're much nicer, and our names sound a lot alike" he said.

"Oh" I said.

"So, do you want to be best friends?" he asked.

"Forever" I said.

"Forever" he replied.

Matt's POV.

I really hoped that we would be best friends forever.

I've never really had a "best friend".

I'm always gonna protect her and be there for her.

"So tell me what you like" I said.

"Oh, my favorite color is blue, I have a sister named Hannah, I'm six years old, and my mommy is in heaven" she said.

Her mommy was in heaven?

I had questions, but I knew better than to ask.

"Well, my favorite color is blue, I have two brothers, Ryan and Dylan, I'm six, and sorry about you're mommy" I said.

"It's okay, I feels nice to talk about it" she smiled.

"CLASS, it's time to pick our seats" the teacher said.

"Let's sit together" she said.

"Okay" I smiled.

We picked out our seats, and of course sat right next to each other, ate lunch with each other, played outside together, and stayed by each other all day.

And that was the start of Maddie and I's friendship.
