A kiss to calm

Dan's POV

I groan loudly and slam my hands onto the desk in front of me. I felt like pulling my hair out. This was so frustrating! I was editing one of my videos, and I couldn't get a certain cut right. It just wouldn't line up correctly. I've been here for hours editing and I felt like throwing my computer out the window.

My back was aching from being in the same position for so long, my hair was greasy and messy from running my fingers through it, and my face felt flushed and hot from being so frustrated. I needed a break.

I flopped back in my chair and rested my neck on the back on the chair. My face faced the ceiling which gave my tired eyes a much needed break from the screen.

"Phiiiiiilllll!" I called out to my boyfriend, my voice sounding defeated.

Only a few moments passed before my beautiful boyfriend came gliding in. He came up into my view, his smiling face much more interesting than the plain ceiling.

He placed his hands on either sides of the top of my chair and leaned in slightly. He gave me a soft kiss to the lips, and started to pull away. Blushing, I whined and reached up, grabbing the sides of his head and pulling him back down for a longer kiss. I felt him smile into the kiss and I savored the taste and softness of his lips.

He pulled away a bit, but stayed close enough to my face that our noses touched. I stared into his eyes and he stared just as intently at mine. I could see every detail of his eye, the specs of other colors mixed with the blue.

"I love you." I muttered softly.

He gave my nose a quick peck which made my cheeks tingle. "I love you too."
