Chapter 18 (May the best man win)

We went outside the clinic...

"Y/N do you have work?" Jungkook asked.

"Yes she does." Jin answered back coldly.

"I'm not talking to you." Jungkook glared at him.

"Didn't I say that both of you should get along with each other and not fight?" I said to them.

"Yes." They both replied back with their heads down

"So moving back to your question Jungkook, Yep, I'm working part-time at a cafe, but I'll quit since my parents give me enough monthly allowance for myself anyway." I replied back.

"Oh I see" Jungkook said.

"How about you? Do you work?" I asked him

"Not really, my parents give me monthly allowance like you." He replied.

"Ohh okay then." I said.

"Ehem!" Jin said trying to interrupt our conversation.

"Yes?" I looked at him.

"Y/N, Would you like to come with me at the carnival tomorrow?" Jin said to me with cheerful eyes.

"Sure!" I replied back and smiled at him.

"Umm.." Jungkook said.

I looked at him and he looked at me sadly..

"Can Jungkook join too?" I asked Jin.

His smile suddenly turned into a frown.

"But-" Jin said then I cut him off.

"Pleeaaaseee, I want to hang out with both of you and I want the two of you to get along." I said to Jin and looked at him with pleading eyes.

Jin gave me a sad smile.

"Hm. Ok.." He said while trying to force a smile.

I jumped happily and hugged him..

He was startled by my actions but He eventually hugged me back.

"Ehem! Guys we should go now" Jungkook said in a cold tone.

"Fine kookie, let's go and continue our classes now." I said.

I grabbed Jin and Jungkook's hand and dragged them to our classroom..

We arrived at our classroom..

I peeked inside to look if our teacher was there yet..

"Oh no.." I whispered

"Why?" Jin and Jungkook whispered back.

"Our teacher is already inside" I said.

"We have no choice, let's just go in and apologize." Jungkook said.

I knocked the door and slowly opened it.

"Good afternoon Ms. Lee, sorry we're late." I said.

"Why were you late?" Ms Lee asked.

"I accompanied my friends to the clinic, they umm... got into a fight." I hesitatingly said.

"Mr. Jeon, Mr. Kim is this true?" Ms Lee asked.

"Yes ma'am"  they bowed their heads down..

"Okay, please don't get into a fight again, you may now proceed to your seats." Ms. Lee said.

We went to our seats and started listening to Ms. Lee....
