Shane, rick, Carl and I have been walking for a pretty long time. Around a half an hour to forty-five minutes.
We keep walking until we hear branches crack. We all whip around to see a beautiful buck just eating out in the open.
Carl and I turn around to ask for permission to go up to it when rick nods his head for permission. Carl walks up first with me following closely behind.
Carl reaches out his hand to touch it when I hear a loud bang. I feel a sharp pain in my stomach and look down to see a gun hole.
I turn around to give rick and Shane a sad look and fall to the ground. Hitting my head on a rock in the process.
