The next morning Alexa groaned as she felt someone jump on her bed excitedly, she slowly opened her green eyes to see her twin brother, jumping up and down on her bed with a smile on his face.

“Come on Alex… dad has got us a surprise,” David said before jumping off her bed and dashing out of the door, Alexa sighed as she sat up; sometimes she wondered if her brother actually remembered he was nineteen instead of nine.

Alexa climbed out of bed and stretched before she got dressed and headed downstairs, she wasn’t surprised to see Jennifer there chatting to their mother about the wedding and herself.

Elizabeth smiled at her youngest granddaughter and set a bacon sandwich in front of Alexa as she sat down at the table.

Jennifer looked at the sandwich offended before she turned back to talking to Martha, who frowned as Alexa started to eat what she had been given.

Steven and Joseph danced into the room looking excited and both of them wearing red; the two seemed to be acting like children and not grown men. Alexa looked at them confused, before she shook her head while her brothers looked at their father expectantly.

“Okay people… I have six tickets to see today’s Manchester United vs. Aston Villa home game,” Steven said making Ryan and David look at him excited at the announcement; they had wanted to go to a match while they were here.

Martha rolled her eyes in annoyance since the money wasted on the football tickets could have been used to pay for a hotel, while Jennifer pursed her lips; her brothers hadn’t gotten this excited over her wedding.

“Well I can’t go I have to see the florist for the wedding,” Jennifer said making Martha look at her sympathetically causing the two of them to talk between themselves quietly.

“Well it’s simple… Martha why don’t you go with Jennifer to the florists and the rest of us will go the match,” Steven said making Martha frown at him, she had wanted Alexa to go with Jennifer so she could relax for the rest of the day at a Spa.

Elizabeth smiled at Alexa who nodded in agreement, anything was better than spending the day with Bridezilla or their mother; she wasn’t in the mood to listen to their hateful comments.

Alexa looked at herself in the mirror, she had never been to a football match before so she wasn’t quite sure what she should wear.

The blonde had decided to wear a black sleeveless crinkle tunic top and black ankle length leggings paired with black faux suede buckle ankle boots for the match.

Alexa looked at her outfit, one last time before she grabbed her black textured blazer and headed downstairs; her mother frowned at her as she joined her grandmother who was in the kitchen.

Elizabeth smiled at her since they were both wearing similar things and weren’t wearing the team colours while David and Ryan were both wearing jersey’s and were chatting excitedly about the match.

“I’m glad you’re coming Alexa, you can keep me company while the boys enjoy the match,” Elizabeth said while Martha pursed her lips and rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Martha looked at her husband who was excitedly talking to his father, she still couldn’t believe that he had wasted money on tickets for a football game while he wouldn’t pay out for a lovely hotel for them.

“Well it’s not at all lady like… but what do we expect from our Alexandria,” Martha snidely commented making Elizabeth frown at her in disapproval, she was growing tired of Martha’s putdowns.

Rolling her eyes Alexa ignored her, Martha never approved of anything that she did; she had heard this speech over and over again and she was sure her mother would get bored if she didn’t comment back.
