You Belong with Me

Part Two - Chapter Twenty-Four: Becoming Man and Wife

Alexa Dylan had never thought that she would be marrying not only the love of her life but someone like Cristiano; however here she was the morning of her wedding preparing to marry Cristiano Ronaldo.

Alexa sighed as her hair was perfectly styled for her big day, it had been over a year since she had been abducted and assaulted; she had worked so hard to move forward with her life and she had done what she could do to make sure that she fully recovered.

Alexa smiled to herself as she closed her green eyes, she had welcomed a beautiful little girl in May and Cristiano had been thrilled at the birth of their second child.

Lilian dos Santos Dylan was the couple’s three month old daughter and had been the most welcome thing that had come from the year before; Cristiano couldn’t have been happier to have a little girl to spoil.

Katia grinned at Alexa as she finished doing her hair for her, no one could believe that the big day had finally arrived; Elma grinned as she held Lilian, the three month old was wearing a lilac dress and had a bow in her blonde hair.

“You look beautiful,” Elizabeth said watching her granddaughter prepare for her wedding, she couldn’t believe that Alexa was finally getting married and had a family of her own now.

Alexa nodded her head as she peeked over at her dress, she would be wearing an ivory A-line embroidering strapless chapel train wedding dress; she couldn’t wait to put it on.

Alexa smiled as she carefully stood and took a deep breath as she glanced over at her dress, it was the last part of her preparations before she headed downstairs to get married.

Joseph Dylan blinked back tears as he looked at his youngest daughter, he couldn’t believe that she was getting married today; Alexa had all grown up and starting her own family.

Martha was the only member of the family that had not been invited to the wedding, she didn’t even know any of the details; she had been banished from Alexa’s life completely after trying to sell access to her daughter to a magazine.

Alexa couldn’t believe that her mother had done that to her and she was never going to forgive Martha; it was time for Alexa to move forward with her life and Martha wasn’t going to be a part of it.

“Let’s get you into that dress… then you can marry that brother of mine,” Katia teased making Alexa smile, the blonde looked at her dress and took a deep breath as she realised just how close her wedding was. Alexa took a deep breath

Cristiano smiled as he stood at the front of the room waiting for his fiancée to arrive, he couldn’t believe that his wedding day had finally arrived.

Cristiano peeked at Karim who was sat beside his new girlfriend, Chloe De Launay; he was happy that the Frenchman had moved on from all the pain that Daniella had caused him and he hoped that good things came for Karim.

José Pereira stood beside Cristiano, none of them had thought that this day would come and Alexa was certainly the woman that Cristiano had been meant to spend his life with.

“She’ll be here soon,” José promised making Cristiano nod, it was clear that he wanted the blonde here now so that she could become his wife.

Cristiano sighed spotting his mother entering the room carrying Lilian, the footballer smiled as he looked at his daughter while Hugo held his son; they were the two best things in his life next to their mother.

Before Cristiano could comment, the wedding match began making the footballer smile as he realised that in a few moments he would be reunited with Alexa.
