"Do I have too?" I whined

"Yes, you have too and it's not like I'm forcing you too it's just you have no choice," Christ says, "Besides, I'll be there with you okay?"

I looked him and sighed, "Okay," I nodded as we enter the cafeteria

As soon as we got in I hid behind Christ the whole, he seemed to have notice due to the weird look he gave me.

He turned his head over his shoulder, "What are you doing?" He whispered

"Hiding," I replied whispering back

"Well don't!" He whispered pulling me beside him, "I already told you that I'll be with you okay?" He smiled

"Okay," I smiled back as we reached the lunch line, "Ugh! Why didn't I just bring my own lunch! I wouldn't of have to stay in this long line."

"I know, me too," Christ said, "Looks like we're both dumb."

"Speak for yourself!" I told him as the line started to move

"Wow, I'd never thought I'd see Mei Twig back in the lunch room," Tom laughs idiotically with his friends following behind

"Why do you care?" I scoffed

"I don't," He glares at me

"If you didn't care you wouldn't be talking to me about it," I said not looking at him

"You know what you little-" He gets cut off as we're finally able to enter inside

"Whoops, looks like the line is moving! I'll ignore you later," I smiled brightly walking in with Christ

"I agree with you," Christ's says grabbing some pizza

"What do you mean?" My brows furrowed

"If Tom doesn't care then why does he always bother you in this first place?" He raises an eyebrow

"Beats me," I shrug grabbing some pizza

When I finished picking out the food I typed in my school ID code until the lunch lady stopped me, "Oh no, you don't have to pay," She puts her hand to stop me

I give her and a confused look as Christ does too, "Uh w-what do you mean?" I asked nervously

"Someone already payed your lunch for you," She explained, "And told me to give you this," She handed me a small piece of paper

I snatch it from her hand, "Thanks," I say before quickly walking away from her leaving Christ behind

"Mei! Wait up!" He says running beside me, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," I muttered as we found an empty table which was next to Tom and his friends unfortunately

"You don't have lie you know," He tells me sitting down, "We may not have been friends for a long time but I already can tell when you lie," He says

"How?" I questioned taking a bite of a carrot slice, "I'm pretty good at lying," I whispered to myself

"Well for one, your a horrible liar," He laughs, "Two, you-" He pauses, "Actually, never mind," He smirks, "I don't I want you to know how I can tell when you lie."

"I am not a bad liar!" I exclaimed trying to defend myself, "I'm very much at it for you information," I said to him

"Whatever," He laughs again looking down at my tray, "By the way, what does the note say?" He asks

"Oh right," I said grabbing it and opening it up

You're welcome.
P.S. Paying for you lunch was my way of saying thank you.

~ Adrian

I smiled at it sighing from relief, "It's from Adrian," I gave him the note so he could look at it

"Why is saying thank you though?" Christ asks

"I have no idea," I said drinking some water, "But I'm grateful he did," I nodded devouring into my pizza

"Surprise you can even stay skinny with all the food you eat," D'Arcy's says walking by our table with Jackie and the same tall blond haired girl who I still know

"I have a fast metabolism stupid," I whispered

"What did you say idiot?" She puts her face close to mine

When I don't respond she smirks, "That's what I thought, be happy you kept your nasty lips shut this time," She says as Jackie chuckles but blonde girl remains emotionless

They both kept laughing as the three of three of them slowly turn around, as they start to walk away, I stood up and I grab my water bottle and splash some of it on D'Arcy causing her to slip forward crashing into her table with her friends catching their attention.

As the whole table as well as the D'Arcy looks at me, I immediately regret my decision when I see her face. But I had to stay confident and stand my ground, I was gonna gonna be a push over to her.

"Ooohhh I know you didn't just that!" She laughs evilly walking back towards me

"No! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to that," I said as she walks near me

"Did you guys see what that little mutt did to me?" she turns around asking her friends as the whole table glares at me

"No! Really! I'm sorry D'Arcy, I didn't mean to that!" I said as she gets closer to me, "I swear, I didn't mean to that! I thought the witch would melt!" I exclaimed as Christ chuckles along with the blond girl and the whole table starts to laugh

"Good one," Christ whispers as we pump fists

"Well you aimed for the wrong witch!" D'Arcy exclaimed as she grabbed some soda from her table and aimed it towards me but I ducked luckily having the soda go towards a teacher who was passing by us, "Crap," D'Arcy muttered

The teacher turned towards D'Arcy with a glare, "Detention!" She pointed at her

"That was officially that best lunch period I've ever been too," Christ said in between laughs

"Glad you enjoyed the show," I muttered grabbing my history textbook from my locker, "But that was the first and last time I'm going back there," I told him

"Why? That was hilarious! Too bad the other guys weren't there too see," Christ says, "Why weren't they here today?" He asks

I shrug, "I don't know," I said as we both headed to Christ's car, "We haven't seen them in a while," I said as my phone rings

Lacrosse player anon: Hey, it's been awhile since we talked. I've been dealing with some stuff.

Me: It's okay, are you alright? You can always talk to me.

Lacrosse player anon: At the moment no, but don't worry I'm fine.

Me: Why do I have a feeling I should worry?

Lacrosse player anon: You shouldn't worry, I gotta go but I'll talk to you later.

I shut my phone off and Christ gives me a weird look but I ignore it turning on the radio.
