"Uh, Mei?" Steven's voice snapped me out of my thoughts

I looked at Steven wide eye, "Uh what?" I questioned still shocked

''Are you okay?" Stevens asks with his brows furrowing, "You kind of zoned out and you looked confused," Steven tells me

I smiled at him, "I'm great," I lied, "Just great," I said lying again

"Are you sure?" Steven narrowed his eyes at me

I sighed, "Don't worry about me," I said to him but he gives me an unsure look, "I'm serious Steven! Don't worry, I'm fine, I promise."

"Has anyone ever told you that you're a bad liar?" Steven arches an eyebrow at me

I rolled my eyes, "Seriously!?" I said annoyed

"Alright," Steven chuckles, " I'll let it go even though I don't believe you."

When Steven and I finally continued to work on our project, I couldn't help but think about lacrosse anon, could Steven really be lacrosse anon? I mean, it really did make sense considering the way he looked connected to what lacrosse anon had told me last night.

I looked at Steven, "So, Steven," I spoke up as he looked at me, "Remeber when we had to write those letters to a person in our class?" I asked him trying to sound calm

Steven laughed, "Yeah, I do actually," Steven responds, "If being honest, at first I really didn't want to do it, but in the end, I'm glad we were forced to do it," Steven sighs with a happy look on his face

I give Steven a curious look, "Why is that?" I asked too eagerly

"Because the person that was my partner ended up being a very close friend of mine," Steven explains, "She helps me and is there for me when I need her, whenever I feel like I have no one to talk to or I feel can't talk to anyone, I know that I can talk to her," Steven continues, "I really do like her, she's an amazing person and I can't imagine not being to have her as a friend," Steven told me

I look at Steven in shock, "Wow," I sighed in awe, "You must uh really like her huh?" I asked him nervously

Steven looked at me with a smile still plastered on his face, "I really do," He says whispering out the last part

"Well, I'm sure she likes too," I told him

Steven shrugs his shoulder, "I can only hope," He says as the bell rings, "Wow," Steven chuckles, "We didn't even work on our project at all," Steven says packing up his stuff, "We have a lot of work done at the moment anyway," Steven says

"Yeah," I laughed, "I'll see you around," I told him as he left

As I continued to pack up my stuff I noticed that I was the only person in the class left, when I looked up I saw Mrs. Meyers looking up at me with a smirk on her face.

"You know, your lacrosse anon talked about you to me yesterday," Mrs. Meyers told me still smirking

I looked at her shocked, "He did?" I asked her surprised, "What did he say? And why did he tell you?" I asked, "No offense or anything," I quickly said after

"He's my nephew," Mrs. Meyers chuckled, "He kept telling me about how good of a friend you are and how amazing he thought you were, he's always thanking me for pairing you both actually," Mrs. Meyers explained, "He really does like you, and although you too may not who you both truly are, I can tell how happy he is when I see him texting you," Mrs. Meyers tells me, "I've never seen him so happy in a long time, I'm very grateful you two are friends, I paired you both up on purpose actually," Mrs. Meyers confesses as I can see the her eyes gleam
