When you finally recovered, there was a meeting for the upcoming mission.
Only 100 soldiers,

To kill the progenitors: Lucal Wesker, and Crowely Eusford along with his subordinates.
It was going to be close, but it could be done. At least that was what Guren thought. You were going to be assigned in Shinoas team along with Shinya, just in case something happened to Guren.
Huh, I wonder how much they've improved since last time we embarrassed them..
"Mito,(y/n)." Gurens voice interrupted
"Yes?" You both answered
"Go check inside the building. Goshi refuses to, he says he's to busy looking at his..book.." Guren then glared at Goshi
"Okay, okay. Let's go Mito!" You say grabbing her hand and dragging her into the building
"Let's make this quick, shall we?" Younsaid readhing into one of your pockets,
"Happily" She sighed
You pulled out a couple of motion detecting fuda. You threw them across the building, then saying the words to cast them. Immediately, you sensed no one else in the room but the both of you. You quickly ended the spell, and ran out of the building. When you got outside Sayuri, Shi Shinya had just pulled up in a flashy sports car,
"Guwen!" Shinya said with a piece of toast still in his mouth
"Shinya! Where'd you get the wheels?" Goshi said anxiously
"Can you believe it? I found it on the side of the street on my way over here." Shinya replied proudly
"Shut up..You guys are both loud as hell." Guren whined
"I came here to help. Now where's my thanks?~" Shinya reached his hand out to Gurens
Guren smirked, but turned around heading towards the stage.
He gave out orders, you just stood there bored. It was already 10 minutes in, and there was still no sign of Shinoas squad, you sighed. Just then in the back you saw the cowering heads of teenagers. You weren't the only one who noticed,
"Oh? You're late Shinoa!" Guren yelled
She jumped,
"Well you see colonel..! We realized that we are in fact CEO-" She tried joking
"I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR. THIS A SERIOUS MISSION. PEOPLE WILL DIE."Guren deathglared Shinoa
"Forgive me, lieutenant. It's my fault we're late. Kimizuki was teaching me how to drive and it seems it made us late."The raven haired boy stepped in
He was obviously lying, but you admired that he looked out for them, making you smile a bit. You could tell Guren could see that as well. If anything making him happy. From what Guren had told you, Yuu had only revenge on his mind. To slaughter all the vampires. Except, that didn't seem to be the case anymore. He found people he could finally call, "family."
"Very well, private Yuichiro Hyakuya. You're punishment will come later. Shigure, remind me when we are done."
"Sir," She responded
As the orders continued being handed out Shigure asked that Yuchiro come and follow her. You decided to walk alongside Yuu.
"I think we all can say that you guys were stopped by something else other than your terrible driving skills no?" You teased
"One," Yuu huffed
"I drive just fine thank you. Two. You have no proof."
"Oh? I need proof? I can easily just have Namaru here read your mind and tell me. Am I bluffing?" You scolded
He grunted, you couldn't help but laugh.
When you guys arrived, Guren and the rest of the squad was there,
"So, how's it feel?" Guren asked
Yuchiro looked confused, then he understood. He blushed, and scratched the back of his neck,
"Do I have too? It's embarrassing.." He said laughing awkwardly
"Heh, you don't. I like this new attitude of yours."
"Guren, who is this boy? And why is he so ill mannered?" Mito stated blankly
"She's right, Yuu. Respect your elders."
You and Shinya both smirked and decided to mess with him.
"Yeah Guren. Respect your elders." Shinya teased
You plopped yourself next to Guren, wrapping your arm around his waist,
"What are we to you, Guren?" You asked, curiousity wrapping around your tone
"Best friends or family?" Goshi asked exitedly
"Oh, shut it." Guren blushed
"Oi! Guren, who are these people?" Yuu asked
Mito responded, "We have known Guren for 8 years, one of them being before the catastrophe. Since High school most simply stated."
He nodded,
"Well, I came here to be punished..." Yuu mumbled
"I'm going to punish Shinoa, she never takes me seriously." Guren explained
"Who would ?" You and Shinya say in unison.
You both laughed, but it didn't last long. You were both victim to Gurens head slapping
